  • Republicans have been blocking ALL measures to aid our economic recovery. They’re despicable creatures who don’t mind trashing the place just to try to bring Obama down.

    VOTE DEMOCRAT 2012!!!

  • I am moving to Canada

  • More than anything republicans seem focused, at least nowadays, on shooting down anything that spends more than it takes in. This would have been something that would have required giving away more money that we don't have.

I just wish they could freeze taxes and focus entirely on cutting their budget. ALL of the budget goes to critical stuff... education, economic incentives, medicare... It may seem like the concept of limited economic power in a government is impossible.

    But it's our reality.

  • Ya know what's so sad? John Boehner is famous for having handed out Big Tobacco checks to congressmen (right there on the floor) just before a big vote on tobacco. Literally, handed out checks to buy votes. Tobacco won that day.

This is the man who could become the Speaker of the House???????????

Please, God. Please. Do NOT let that happen.

    VOTE DEMOCRAT!!!

  • Outstanding video. Perfectly illustrates what Republicans have been doing for the past 20 months. They have constipated Congress, blocking anything and everything, including THEIR OWN PROPOSALS! It's called sabotage, plain and simple.

I hate to say it, but I think righties are enjoying the state of the economy. Certainly, folk on FOX News are gleaming.

Bad analogy, but here 'tis. It's like plugging a toilet, not letting the plumber get through the door, and then complaining about it.

  • VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT. VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT, VOTE DEMOCRAT

  • BS ha ha ha what a laughing STOCK of BS! You people have made the US into a BIG MESS without a Common Cause of what THE PEOPLE are going through or what we need or How the TAXES are killing us and How the IRS is so messed up!! Its amazing how many people out here in Hell and trying to live a good life knew this was coming and you people are CRACK POTS!

  • The Tan man created 21 accounts and clicked dislike each time!

    Go VOTE this November.

  • Sadly even news organizations aren't showing this. It would help a lot.

  • @Stingerbillion You certainly won't find it on FOX. This is one of hundreds of examples. Republicans stalled 400 bills in the Senate. They blocked nearly every Presidential appointment...we still have 100 appointees waiting for confirmation. And many of those Republicans stalled were VOTED IN UNANIMOUSLY!

Block, stall, and then complain about it. It really is nauseating.

Just know that righties favor the corporate elite. Not the working man.

  • @demmmmm1 I agree with you, but others who support Republicans don't understand that they only care about the corporate assholes instead of you.

  • @Stingerbillion Yeah. That's a tough one. And these days it's even more difficult to trust what the media is giving people.

I truly feel that if people understood a few basic things about the Republican "Pledge," they wouldn't go there.

    1. It's exactly the same economic policy as GW's.

    2. They'll cut education funding by 20%

    3. They'll give $700billion in tax cuts for wealthy people (borrowed money)

    4. They'll try to abolish the minimum wage

    5. Privatize Medicare and Social Security

  • @Stingerbillion Okay, so there's more.

    6. Deregulate Big Oil further than they did, and others

    7. Repeal health reform (which is not perfect, but an amazing start)

    8. Work to keep campaign finance where it's at (unlimited corporate money for attack ads - corporations buying elections)

    9. Repeal Wall Street reform (which is designed to prevent taxpayer bailouts from ever happening again)

    Ah...the list goes on.

  • the bill would not of done what some would say it would have done. kudos to the reps for not voting for the lame bill.

  • The GOP and their teabagging friends should just drop dead.

  • @jmg3k Sadly, they won't until this country is completely destroyed. You see, they don't fucking care about the American people, only the 2 percent who are rich.

  • If this commercial doesn't become national soon i'll be pissed. If it does Dems hold the house and senate.

  • Yeah, did you guys read the bill? I'm not saying your right or you're wrong. But EVERY politician is screwed up. And I don't trust a single one of them

  • Hahaha, the American right is so precious. Too bad ALL politics in America are right wing.

  • NOT ANY DIFFERENT from what they have been! GET them all OUT of OFFICE.VOTE THEM OUT They should give us all a payout of hmmm $250k each so we can buy a house and live in peace BUT NO THEY SEND ALL THE MONEY OVERSEAS BEACAUSE WHY? GOD ONLY KNOWS Because they left the PEARLY GATES open too long NOW WE ALL HAVE NO JOBS, NO MONEY, NO HOMES, GOD HELP US or it will be Oprah, Gates, Buffet, Mark Zuckerberg to help us...... WHO IS GOING TO HELP AMERICANS? WHERE IS ALL THE MONEY FOR US TO REBUILD?

  • wonder who that one guy was.

  • What is GOP?

  • @JapsEye2 it stands for Grand Old Party.

  • @hotapplepipe

    GOP stands for

    Greedy Obstructionist Perverts.

  • @hotapplepipe Thanks. :)

  • Was that Alex Jone's voice?!

  • Republicans voted it down because one part of it "gave" government loans to small businesses. The problems is the money isn't "given", it is made available if the small business doesn't want the loan they don't have to apply for it and the money is a federal loan which never goes away even if you die, so it is eventually paid back.

  • politicians lie.

    get over it.

  • @1schwererziehbar1 some lie more than others. they are called republicans. get over it.

  • @hotapplepipe

some people are heavily invested in one party and therefore in denial that all politicians lie.

  • @1schwererziehbar1 some people are not intelligent enough to understand the concept of the lesser of two evils and incremental progress over moving backwards.

  • @1schwererziehbar1

Nothing but black and white in your simplistic world?

    Grow up.

  • I like how they added the ticking clock to make it seem like it was on 60 seconds

  • @jondoe91941 Banks not lending is only making any economic instability worse.

Chase took enough money from us that I think they should be lucky to be our partner in anything.

People like you try to pretend that the only options to us are complete fascism (corporate despotism) or communism.

  • Damn, Boehner is so orange.

  • Not nearly enough context here to understand what's going on..

  • thats a great piece of propaganda DemRapidResponse, too bad you left out all the details and facts, lol, typical lying liberal!!

  • @kfishead Please explain these details.

  • This video needs more views. Dems or Repubs. Nothing will change unless we get rid of who leads them both (corporate suits).

  • @haterdrinkinhaterade Fall for? This happened. They tried to stonewall tax cuts to small businesses. Just like they're trying to stonewall tax cuts to the middle class. Keep blindly laughing at liberals for having crazy ideas like "voting against what you just pledged to support makes you a hypocrite."

The Pledge With America would be a joke, if it weren't such a threat to our economy. It's Moral Majority bullshit merged with all the worst ideas from the Bush years.

  • I dont give a fuck who is leading. Just fix this shit you petty imbecilic assholes and stop fucking with our lives for your political bullshit wars. Jesus fucking christ I can almost understand why people go apeshit and shoot up everything. Land of the free is the biggest lie ever told. I am free to sit here and be miserable, that's my only freedom.

  • @bobotarclown Corporations are leading. They control congress. :)

  • should of taken george washington's advice and said fuck you to politcal parties.

  • @Crunchieman THANK YOU.

  • Good thing I don't live in lolmerica

  • Democrats + Republicans = BULL SHIT

  • Hey lame-ass Democrats, how about producing a video that actually motivates people to vote for your party?

  • @jptv Hey lame ass American... Focus past the right and left BS and see the reality that there is only one party in America - the corporate party...then lighten up and realize you are along for the ride and there isn't shit you can do.

  • @jptv exposing republicans as asshole hypocrites isn't 'motivation' enough? Your country, buddy.

  • Hey, Wait a minute. Where was this " Pledge for America" when everyone was suffering in the Republicans was holding up progress by filibustering every effort to fix the problem. 1 month before midterm elections now they say they are going to help us. That sounds like squash to me.

  • Well if they voted for it and it passes Obama gets credit, so they vote it down and then when and if they get power they pass their version and they get credit. It's sad how petty politics often is where people will fight against things they claim to support just because the other guys (that they spend night and day demonizing) want to do it too.

  • @MAdk1p What are you talking about? Really. There isn't even room to argue with you, because all you have presented is complete nonsense. If you want America to "wake up," why don't you start by doing your own part? End the BS. Though you will obviously refuse to believe this logic, here is the truth: even if it is a "sin against Jesus," it doesn't matter. Separation of Church and State - as our Founding Fathers wanted it. Your Christian beliefs have no room in our government. This is America.

  • @MAdk1p You're an idiot.

  • It's *obvious* the dems and the pubs are floating in the same sinking ship.

  • Please, stop cutting the clips. I am a liberal who hates that stuff on both sides. Let the statement play in its entirety so we can make observations for ourselves and not have to be wary of propaganda.

  • @Johnismyhero this is the 21st century, if you're that interested in seeing the whole clip you can find it in like 15 seconds. You don't need everything spoon fed to you like in the days of television, you can do it on your own now.

  • @Johnismyhero Did you miss the part where it said this was created and paid for by the Democrats? Are they under some obligation to treat their adversaries favorably?

YouTube comments are a cesspool of idiocy, but yours adds colossal naivete to the mixture.

  • @TacoBellManager Did you miss the part that the whole "Pledge to America" is nothing more than the replubicans trying to take control from the democrats. The dems are simply pointing out hyprocrasy. Though it exists from both sides, don't act like a replubican sponsored 25 page same-ol' same ol' is to be treated like complete BS as it was with the "Contract with America".

  • Dems better get their shit together and start paying attention to their base. I wanted FDR, not Bush Lite.

  • was that Alex Jones? lol

  • @macwild1234 No, that was Ed Schultz.

  • @macwild1234 It did kinda sound like Alex Jones, but not quite angry enough, and my eardrums are still intact, so it was obviously not Alex Jones.

  • @SirMildredPierce The speaker at the end of the clip is Ed Schultz of "The Ed Show" (msnbc).

  • @vidz4funz Who? Never heard of Ed...

  • Comment removed

  • What does being against tax increases have to do with approving a pork bill? Why do stupid people get angry over idiotic soundbytes that contain glaring contradictions? Why can't the masses be at least somewhat close to my intelligence? No I'm not a Republican, but I'm also not a moron taking this video seriously.

  • @d0pam1ne If the Democrats were not the one proposing it they would have voted for it and you know it. It has nothing to do with actual opposition and everything to do with a party that has no direction lashing out at the party that beat them 2 years ago. And there are enough people in this country that feel just as butt hurt that these fucking clowns will be gaining seats next election.

  • @ShadowWolf346 I have faith that my fellow countrymen will come to their senses before election day, allowing the Democrats to make further gains in congress.

  • @d0pam1ne Thank you. Exactly my beef.

  • What was in the bill? What was the pork attached to it that made it unappealing? People like to cry foul when the Republicans/Democrats shoot down a bill that sounds really awesome but the majority of the time, it's loaded with pure shit.

  • @XBFNoodles No, Republicans opposed it because it was proposed by Dems. Same with "Obamacare." It's just the Republicans health care plan from 1994, but this time proposed by Dems. That's why they oppose it.

  • JB love his tanning cream and BS

  • "We're not going to be any different than what we've been" Ain't that the truth. GOP - Grand Obstructionist Party.

  • @bucfan14 I'm going to give you an intelligent response... since you like getting raped with strong words that they are actually shoving up your ass... your intelligence might not be so... intelligent... so let me just say.... YOU'RE A FUCKING DUMB FUCKING FUCK

Republicans are all from the same cut of fucktards.

  • @bucfan14 I'm interested in hearing how creating a fund to create loans for small businesses, giving a tax credit to businesses who raise wages and hire new workers and eliminating the capital gains tax on small business investment, "does nothing to help small businesses". Yeah looks like you should read the bill first or STFU

  • @matchles81 MONSTER KILL

  • @matchles81 Further more, I wonder where we could find, oh, one trillion dollars in tax money that could be used to benefit small businesses or even just Americans in general. Anyways, hey GOP how's the war in Iraq going?

  • @matchles81 money. It seems that power is more important than the welfare of others.

  • @matchles81 Giving loans to small businesses doesn't necessarily help them in the long term. You probably may not know this, but money has to be paid back eventually. So by simply giving out a loan, the business hires people, but when it comes time to pay the loan back, all those people will just lose their jobs again. Oh BTW, where's that money coming from to create that new fund? Just wondering. Cause in case you haven't seen the nat'l debt lately, it isn't pretty. Good luck.

  • @matchles81 Also, Peter Roskam is right. Offer tax deductions, not loans. Tax cuts mean more money in the hands of those small business owners (and large corporation owners) so that they can afford to hire more people. It's simple economics. If you have money, you spend it. If you're a smart business owner, you hire more people and expand your business. How do you get more money to hire more people without having to worry about paying it back? Tax cuts. Very simple.

  • Weird. They don't vote for tax cuts for small businesses, but they want tax cuts for the wealthiest in the country.

  • About time the dems get some spine.

  • THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!

  • the republicans are so set against the people it's incredible

  • i love how its BOTH parties fault, but when you look at the numbers, it is impossible to suggest anything other than the republican administrations repeated failures as the cause of problems in this country

  • FINALLY! Thanks, DNC, for finally showing up for the fight. Where have you been for the last year and a half?

  • maybe what you americans need is something other than the GOP or the DNC......

  • GOP doesn't stand for anything anymore other than ignorance and obstruction. The point of this video isn't any surprise. What do you think you'd get when you have an entire political party whose constituents vote based more on false notions of Jesus and whom they'd rather "have a beer with"? This pledge to America was a contradiction as soon as it was written. The "pledge" staets more "liberty" - something Republicans are inherently against when it comes to anyone other than white Christians.

  • what a joke!!!!!!!!!!!! Business as usual for the republican party

  • Ignore the trolls. Folks like 'heknowsitall' (fantastic name, btw) will say anything to promote their side, reality or not. the republicans broke their pledge in a single day. You cant deny. You cant pretend it didnt happen. It did, theres proof. If you dont like it, well, theres plenty of horrific alternate realities out there for you. And you are a fool if you think obama is a communist. Get your head out of the fox news oil shale, we'll be happy to welcome you to the real world.

  • And this surprises you why? Republicans are great at saying one thing and doing another...

  • GOP is a JOKE. Only dummies could vote for these IDIOTS!

  • The only small businesses Republicans are interested in helping are "S-Corps".

  • it's hard to tell where the wood in the background stops and boners face begins

  • After watching Keith the other night....not sure what a "SMALL" business is. Just close the loop holes and lets get this to the "Mom and Pop" businesses.

    Obama/Biden 2012

  • @dallastx5 you sound like a very simple minded person who doesn't make sense.

  • Bravo! That video nailed it.

The Republicans make it easy for their opponents. Finding broken promises or outright lies told by Republican candidates and elected officials is like shooting fish in a barrel.

  • @heknowsitall Why don't you go to politifact and check for yourself, Obama has kept majority of his promises.

  • THIS is a FANTASTIC message. Too bad it's never going to be seen or heard in the broadcast media (Radio and TV) where it will do the most good. Then again, that's why I believe firmly in what Will Rogers once said. "I'm not a member of any organized political party. I'm a Democrat."

  • Well nobody told them they actually had to FOLLOW their plan...

    LOL

  • blah blah blah. if your fooled by old bush politics then f you!

why dont republicans take responsibility for helping bush murder millions and destroying america? clinging to the fact that there are some corrupt dems doesnt justify anything and i wonder how u f'n sleep at night. f you republicans pigs!

  • Here the deal folks, the Tea Party is not real, it's funded by Koch Industries that owns oil. They recruited Dick Army who was a Republican in congress that engineer the "Contract To America" and we all know how that turn out it was a bust! So, the new "Pledge to America" is the same as the "Contract to America". Now you have the real Libertarian pissed off, because this fake Tea Party hyjack their name. So, it on! Let's vote out these crooks.

  • You can almost forgive the pathetic weakness of the dems in the face of the abject hypocrisy of the repubs. Of course if this ad was on every single channel, then it would be game set match.

  • holy shit this needs to be run nationally!!! they would all be toast!

  • I know it's only been a few hours since this video has come up, but it is certainly paramount that we show as many people as possible these great examples of hypocrisy within the Republican party. This is a party of filibustering, of saying "no", of looking out only for the rich and prosperous, while the middle class fades into a poor working class. We need to get more aggressive, and show as many people as possible that this is the kind of nonsense the Republicans are made of.

  • oh my goodness, they don't care about anyone other than the rich & corporations.

us peeons only count as grunts, gardeners, and nannys

  • Douche bag part of America.

  • Republicans suck! Vote those Morons out!

  • @ffirb Vote everyone out. No more government!

  • @ffirb no different from the liberal pussys already in there. What has changed for the better for any OF US?

  • @ffirb Those morons arent in right now.

  • @ffirb at least you didn't spell it "Moron's", although using a capital "m" is questionable.

  • FINALLY! A commercial from Democrats that isn't retarded. This one might actually get us votes. FINALLY!

  • As a hard working American Citizen, I have more to fear from the Republican party then I do any Al Qaeda threat O_o

  • @2bRealist Absolutely true.

  • What do you Republicans mean by the phrase: "Small Business"?

  • @nolendunaway During the 2008 Presidential Campaign, John McCain was asked what, in his opinion, income level defined the middle class. His reply was 5 million. . . 5 MILLION ! ! ! That's right, just 2 years ago (during the year of Bush's Bailout Bonanza for obscenely rich bankster) the republican front man considered the other 90% of us to be low class servants and slaves; and, now, he and his buddy Bainer want to "TAKE BACK" congress for Wall St & Banksters??? I DON"T FREAKIN' THINK SO.

  • @FriedDaisy he was asked "what defined rich"

  • ‎"Just give us the keys back! Forget about that little hiccup in the economy due to watered-down regulations and our poor oversight." - GOP

  • They are bitterly partisan. They hate it because it has democrat fingerprints on it. They want Obama to fail and they don't care who suffers as a result. Does it get any more pathetic?

  • Fuck Republicans

  • America's only real enemies are Republicans.

  • unbelievable!!

  • In a world where voters have lost their minds, failed Bush administration policies are back with a vengeance.

See the wealthy get wealthier and the rest fall behind as the GOP takes Congress.

Watch corporations run amuck, trash the environment and Wall Street wreaks the economy again.

See the GOP destroy Social Security and Medicare and pay lip service to fiscal responsibility.

Get ready for ZERO net job growth with Bush II--the repeat of an error.

This November at a ballot box near you.

  • @eatmorenachos I have a feeling the next Republican president will be much worse than Bush was. It might be about time for all of us rational people to build a giant Arc fill it with all the animals and plants on Earth(Except spiders and snakes) and launch into space to find a new home world. I hear Zeta Centauri is nice this time of year.

  • @eatmorenachos "See the wealthy get wealthier and the rest fall behind as the GOP takes Congress."

I'm voting (D) for sure, but the scary thing is that this trend hasn't changed since Democrats took office. We've lost control of both parties. The only difference is at least Democrats will give us stipends like health care, Republicans just turn a blind eye while the elite rape us in the ass.

  • Great video. Everyone should see this, so they can know just how little credibility republicans have.

The Democratic leadership needs to counter their propaganda with facts. Not placate them and attempt bipartisanship with this group of lying scoundrels.

I simple cannot imagine the gridlock they hope to create if they somehow worm their way back into control of the House or the Senate. SO MUCH is at stake here.

  • I'm awfully curious who that maverick Republican is.

  • @ConscientiousMind It's Walter B. Jones, NC-3, a businessman and former Democrat.

  • @cagedtigersteve Thanks for the info.. it's good to know
