I didnt know who this Ratigan guy was until I stumbled across this video. He says he is a fairly new voice in the political spectrum....hmmmm...does this mean we are going to finally see a change in mainstream media? Is this man the voice of the future (and past) where journalists gave fair and unbiased opinions? and reported the news? Ron Paul is the only honest candidate and he deserves FAR more respect than he gets. Bravo Mr. Ratigan! Dr. Ron Paul 2012...Rand Paul 2020!

I really like Paul and some of his ideas, I remember supporting him on the republican side on 2008.

But really places like Argentina, Finland, Sweden, Holland

have shown that gov. can spend to help the people and not put them in debt.

True, the government can reinvest the tax dollars it takes from the citizens and economy in order to provide some basic services, but that's not a blanket justification for rampant government spending, and certainly not government regulation and management.

Look at the school system in Denmark, it's publicly funded but a very large portion of schools are privately owned and managed. There is no "Dept of Ed" over there :)

His entire philosophy is based upon the principles of greater individual liberty and far less central government. What is it you fear about shrinking the central government? Are just a fan of his foreign policies?

@eluminated I just look to the past when we had stronger states rights, slavery etc. But what I do love about Ron Paul is his stance on Gay Marriage and weed and more social issues. Thats what most of my knowledge of Mr. Paul is based on and not a whole lot on his Economic policies. In summary I would be okay with him as president. It would just be interesting with less central govt.
