No, i prefer my history presented to me with as many facts as possible. Considering how it could have ended during 39-45, i'm glad it ended as it did. Yes, some things i would have prefered to go differently, but all in all, it ended in an outcome that can be described as the "lesser evil".
Having to "endure" the americans playing world police for a bit while Europe rebuilds the damage done is a small price to pay, considering the other possibilites, of say, a total Soviet or Nazi victory.
