It sounds like you would constantly need to be adjusting your lane position depending on the type of car behind you. personally, I prefer just being consistent and taking the lane as that is safer for me. With an airzound and dinotte lights, I have little to worry about :-)
I think you misunderstood - I used "two semis cannot easily pass" as a unit of road width, meaning I take the lane whenever I'm on a road that's that wide (not only when there are semi trucks behind me).
I only have a fox 40 whistle, a helmet flashlight and a PB superflash, so I probably have more to worry about than you do though.
I'm confused. If two semis cannot easily pass, I take the lane. Besides, I seriously doubt a semi driver would try passing if there's another semi in the oncoming lane.
And even with a wide car, I know from personal experience that if a Chevy Suburban (full size SUV) puts its left wheels on the double yellow, they are still a full 3 feet away from me.
I only take the lane on VERY narrow roads, i.e. where two semi trucks have to ride the white line to pass.
I ride enough into the lane to give me room to maneuver and to make 99% of drivers change lanes, but not enough to prevent the most impatient/aggressive 1% of drivers from passing within the lane. (I'd rather get buzzed than cut off/rammed/forced off the road due to road rage and/or inattentiveness)
Its windows movie maker, which should already be on any windows XP or vista computer. If not, I think its a free download. I think all you have to do is import the movie clip, click 'add effect', and 'speed up 2x'.
hahahaha at first i didnt know you sped it up 2x, and i was like "WHAT HOW DID HE SPED UP SO FAST?!? XD

The problem is you know two semis can not pass you, but they don't until they are right on top of you. Probably the same for other wide cars.

It doesn't seem like you are taking the lane in this video.

What movie editing software did you use, and how do you speed the video up?
