He obviously has a wonderful teacher. I am glad to see a teacher that does not just rely on the Suzuki books alone but also incorporates other traditional repertoire and etudes for a more well rounded education! :-)
fantastic playing... seems that is a tough piece for a nine year old who has played for just one year. AWESOME! Can you clap the rhythm of this etude? give that a try. good luck and keep going.
That (clapping the rhythm) was tiring! It is the same rhythm, all 16th notes, for the whole song except the last note which was a half note! I think it was good for practice. Thanks! Dylan
@violindc You're welcome... It is certainly good practice... It wouldn't be quite as tiring if you clapped those rhythms slower; at a more manageable tempo! lol
:)
why not video yourself doing some rhythm clapping drills? I'd love to take a peek at them... I have many uploaded myself. ;)
Have a look at some of the videos on my page too! Happy clapping....
holy moly!! im 14 and just learning to play the last two lines! it's been 2 months!! that's sad.... *is motivated to go and practice*
