I rode an r46 once and our car only did the high door chime. You could hear the other cars doing the low chime, but not ours

R46 will be replaced in the future with R211. don't ask me what an R211 is because I heard about it on wikipedia. I wish the HVAC wasn't so loud on the R46.

How can you tell the difference between this one and R44's?

And I don't think R44's and R46's should be on the same line, maybe because of electrical issues?

Numbers and sounds. There are no R44s in the 6000s number range. Only R46s

He's right and if you look and the bottom part where the lines are at on the outside of the train. Remember that the R44 have a big white line on the bottom and the the R46 have a Silver line in the bottom part of the train (outside part of the Train cars).
