  • I rode an r46 once and our car only did the high door chime. You could hear the other cars doing the low chime, but not ours

  • R46 will be replaced in the future with R211. don't ask me what an R211 is because I heard about it on wikipedia. I wish the HVAC wasn't so loud on the R46.

    Nice video

  • @4P3607 - Wikipedia is never accurate, its just edited by some dumb so-called railbuff.

  • very lucky catch

  • So are all the red striped sides on all R46's going to the A line that are currently in service on Jamaica lines?

  • I remeber when R46s had a deeper idling sound. why did they take that away?!

  • Did these come from the R46's on the F train. if so , Thanks for helping my top line! MTA(sarcasim)

  • l think l just saw myself!

  • Hey nice catch i'm about to upload mine soon but its going to be another Edit video.

  • How can you tell the difference between this one and R44's?

And I don't think R44's and R46's should be on the same line, maybe because of electrical issues?

  • Numbers and sounds. There are no R44s in the 6000s number range. Only R46s

  • He's right and if you look and the bottom part where the lines are at on the outside of the train. Remember that the R44 have a big white line on the bottom and the the R46 have a Silver line in the bottom part of the train (outside part of the Train cars).

  • R44s and R46s cannot run together

  • Right on
