I've known of the version by Love, that hit the top 40 charts back in '65/'66 but never knew of Toni Basil to do a cover version of this song. Toni's Mickey is too much, but this is too too much. Anyway Toni looks at it from a humour point of view, as depicted in this video...i luv it!!, thx4 sharing her version of that Little Red Book.

I can't believe my ears, never mind the video. This was a hit for a group called "Love" back in the mid-sixties As much as I enjoy hearing the original from time to time, I must say I like this updated version even moreso. Toni Basils hit "Mickey" really took off with me...like I tune it in everyday but that won't be the case with "The Little Red Book". Thanks for sharing.
