if you want a loud Porsche, you have to buy a GT3, Carrera S or a Cayenne V8

@jorrie2 i don´t know why but the Turbo/Turbo S, and the GT2/GT2RS are very quiet.

i see a lot of Porsches every day, here in South Germany, and i´m always surprised how quiet these cars are !

a stock 997 Carrera S is way louder than a Turbo S....

Turbo's quiet down the exhaust note, that's why turboed cars are never that loud (cooper's, GTI's, even a Veyron)

Porsches Ambition is not the sound, nor the glamour, its the performance!! And the Turbo, especially the Turbo S is one of the best : 0 -60 in 2.9 secounds, a german car magazine said, that there are some people, wich can do it in 2.7 secounds, and thats pretty close to the veyron!!
