Sasuke didn't really beat itachi because itachi wasn't fighting as strong as he can. He was actually trying 2 help sasuke but sasuke thought he was trying 2 fight him. Madara explained it 2 sasuke after the fight when he found them. So sasuke actually still wasn't better than itachi after all that time.
@OblivionDeath1 yeah but think of the age and experience difference. most people forget that sasuke is only 16 and itachi is in his twenties. so basicaly, if itachi was sasuke's age, there is a strong possiblity that sasuke would be stronger.
