  • Nas dedicated this song to Kelis, 50k a month... robbery.

  • the Nwo puttin all this commercials..buck em!

  • @LikeIsNas. Ill. This song stays on repeat.

  • my fuckin avatar fits this fuckin vid b!!!! lol

  • Ya it was in the departed

  • Is that Salaam as the bartender?

  • IN A GADDA DA VIDDA!!!

  • beast is the one that created the worst part of the streets... But he wouldnt fuk wit it, CIA = criminals in action.. Pump crack into hoods, then catch a federal charge.. Selln crack = works for feds ..

The best orginised criminals in world right now are Mossad and Israel

  • 2pac was a super star but on the real no one was talking about him as GOAT when he was alive. Nas was the MC that Hip-Hop heads raved about. Biggie also had that respect. East coast Rap was always about lyricism over beats. Although 2pac was is as a lyricist, and the Makaveli album showed him at his most lyrical. He was getting better. The difference is Nas was a lyrical genius before he even released his first album. Everyone in the know was waiting for him to drop the masterpiece, 'llmatic'.

  • @bolder2009 the reason people and me regard pac as the best of all time is cos of what he had to say

his songs were so full of messages and lessons and philosophies

and they released a film called "tupac: resurrection" that shows just how much of a genius he was with his life being narrated by him and showing the best of his interviews that blew my mind

    u should seriously watch it

  • @PS3xMedia Hey I'm not knocking 2pac. I agree that he was a genius.

  • @bolder2009 nah im just sayin u should watch tupac resurrection and watch and be amazed

  • @PS3xMedia I much prefer his book of poetry, 'The Rose That Grew From Concrete', than the movie.

  • @bolder2009 most likely u r not over 20 years old and googled that... jsut saying... and there's really no difference in raps EVER, it's just how u say it... u DAAAA FLOW... lyric means words... what hits harder than a nigga talking about his crack head mother... don't think much else is... Tupac is a lyrical genius in his own right just like Biggie Rae Nas Rakim Jigga and Biggie are probably the most naturally gifted examples of bouncing around beats freely...Nas has a cool welcoming voice also

  • @kfcbisquitsmmgd Actually I'm 30 years old. I lived through that era. I can tell you about dozens of great lyricists from the 90's that are mostly forgotten about. I have boxes of cassette tapes of DJ Max N Dave's Friday Night Flava Hip-Hop radio show on Choice FM. Rare material from that era. You can't tell me nothing about those artists, I formed my own views through my own listening experience years ago. I was listening to everything. And there is a difference in style. Just saying.

  • Is that lakey the kid and LES at 0:16?

  • I think the message with this video is that every one of us has inner demons - as none of us are perfect - and who are we to judge others without looking in the mirror?!

  • @mrwoodington yeah men! great movie, great soundtrack!

  • @mrwoodington HIP-HOP brought me here

  • @CoscobisLost Cool, just seeing if anyone else liked the song after hearing on a film.

  • let's just all agree that nas and 'pac are the on same level, just different styles.

    nas=east coast 2pac=west coast

for now, we gotta worry 'bout how to push hip hop back up, and hip pop down.

  • Whats good Youtube? Nas inspires me and is one of my #1 rappers!

    ►CarmaMusic - Acoustic Rapper◄ Something different; guitar + rap.

    Appreciate any comments etc.

  • this song sucks like 1234

  • "Grammar", didn't know we were typing term papers here, like I said, Pac is now a cult of personality, b/c I said Nas is a better mc in no way detracts from what Pac accomplished, he was a more engaging personality than Nas will ever be, but the fact still remains, Nas has a better flow, better rhyme scheme, more versatile, more creative, nd a better poet, hence better skills on the mic, c'mon BDK was a better mc than Pac, some of y'all really over cook the Pac worship at times man.

  • @shonha1 Truth.

  • If you don't think nas speaks with meaning or a message listen to "I know I can"

And yeah, learn the difference between opinion and fact...my opinion, you are a fool

  • It's pretty clear that most top five lists will have Pac, Big, and Nas in it in some order. It's really hard to argue that.

  • @Iluvcops911 how about all top five lists

  • I'd advise people who really want to understand this video to read the wikipedia article explaining it. Nas is the best rapper ever RT. Eminem, Biggie and Pac are all legends in their own respect but they just ain't on Nas's level.

  • I agree, anyone that would even say Nas is better than Pac is either real young and can't remember how great Pac was when he was alive, or worse just doesn't know Hip Hop and is a Cult Rapper Fan.

  • @lamareaton Well I'll say it, just mic skills Pac ain't seeing Nas, nd I'm none of those things you listed in your comment, I was there homie, pre1996, when ppl spoke of the greatest mcs Pac's name was never in the convo, Nas was, he was billed as the 2nd comming of Rakim, the fame Pac now has came as a result of all the drama leading up to nd his death, Pac has become a cult of personality, nd that's cool, but talkin strictlty mic skills, he himself would tell u he's not on Esco's level

  • @shonha1 That's nonsense. 2pac's output was incredible, and songs like "Keep Your Head Up" and "Brenda's Got a Baby", have more meaning to them than any of Nas's songs.

    WTF are mic skills?

  • @alwayswinit4real Look if your going to jump into the conversation, do so with facts, don't state your opinions as if they are facts, everything I said in that comment is what I know happened, no1 is saying Pac can't be your fav mc or whatever, but you just lost all cedibility with that comment, as they say the proof is in the pudding, nd if you have to ask what are mic skills, then you had no bissness in the conversation in the 1st place Peace.

  • @shonha1 HAHHHHHA!!!!

Coming from the guy who's entire comment was just pure opinion.

I repeat the question: WTF how do you define "mic skills"?

  • @alwayswinit4real It's obvious you're a fool or just a kid, either way go get a Websters dictionary nd look up the words Fact nd Opinion, you'll see the difference btween the two, anybody who was a true Tupac fan pre 1996, if they're being honest would cosign everything I said. Peace

  • @shonha1 I'm not "obviously" anything. You still haven't enlightened us as to your definition of "mic skills".

I was a Tupac fan pre 1996 and I disagree with what you're saying. And I seriously doubt you have the ability to speak for an entire group of people, so you probably shouldn't make those claims.

Also, if you're going to try to undermine someone's intelligence you should at least do it with correct grammar.

  • Any by the way... Those were facts! None of Nas's songs approach the level of meaning as the above stated 2pac songs.

  • @shonha1 nah fuck that dude pac is lyrically as poet and genuine as they come. i don't care if u were there that makes no difference. obviously he got hyped up a lot more because of the beef he had with biggie and then there untimed murders, but he real + raw in all that he produced. cmon now don't be ridicolous

  • @aliyellop2 This has kinda worn itself thin for me, I'll say it again, Nas is a better mc than Pac, that being said, in no way does it detract from what Pac accomplished while he was here, if u read back your comment u are basically in agreement with me, majority of the ppl screaming Pac as the goat weren't even fans of his when he was alive, how do u know he was so real, did u ever meet him, chill with him, no, you're going off of what u were told, perception is usually greater than reality son

  • @shonha1 if ur talking about mcing, then yeah, nas is better, but over all (including the meaning of the lyrics) pac is better. i say biggie was also better than pac in mcing

  • @shonha1 thats pretty valid. nas is just a genius man, same wit rakim

  • @shonha1 People only like pac after he died, and half of it was bullshit. Most diehard Pac fans are fake, they only like him because they believe that they should. They justify him as the greatest by comparing him to Lil Wayne and Waka Flocka.......but never any real MCs such as Nas or for that matter, any 90s NYC Rapper/Group.

  • @shonha1 No one is the greatest its all in your opinion, no 2 rappers are the same

  • @BlueWaffleMan9000 We all know music boils down to taste, but there are mcs that are more "SKILLED" than others, nd that's what's what I was addressing

  • @shonha1 Look up Snoop Dogs interview where he talks about when Snoop and Pac ran into Nas In NY(Nas' hometown) after a show. Pac punked the fuck out of Nas. Nas said he had nothin but love for Pac. Not saying one is better than the other, because there is no real way to tell that... they are just both legends. The point is: Pac would NOT have said what you think. You know nothing. apparently 40 other retards agree with you.

  • @DStreetJester All you've done is prove my point, Pac has become a cult for some of y'all, start the religion y don't u, all I said was Nas is a better mc than Pac, what does that have to do with who punked who, I've heard a million stories as to what happened that night, I wasn't there and don't care b/c that's drama nd I'm talking about music, I'm sure u don't know either of em personally so how u know who's real and who wasn't, perception is usually greater than reality homie

  • @DStreetJester I saw that interview and Pac was an idiot...He didn't "punk" anyone...He was trying to be a tough guy not knowing Nas' goons were ready to kill him at any time... 2pac was lucky Nas is a nice guy. Snoop explained that...You must have misinterpreted what he was saying...lol

  • @lamareaton Im not young and I say Nas is better than Pac on the mic. Pac was a better speaker and social activist, but when it comes to wordplay he aint seeing Nas, especially Nas when he raps like he's hungry. Ive heard every Pac album and every Nas album.. Both are top 5 rappers

  • @stopwhining1 It's not about wordplay: it's about the message. Who gives a fuck about wordplay? You could have a verse full of the most intricate wordplay imaginable and it could still be completely meaningless.

  • @alwayswinit4real who gives a fuck about wordplay? i do. nas has songs with messages and songs with vicious wordplay. and not all songs have to have a message (all of pacs songs didnt) And dont get all defensive and shit because i like nas better than pac.... everyone has their own opinion.. and my opinion is reasonable..

  • @stopwhining1 OK. Strictly on a wordplay level, I agree Nas is better; but wordplay alone doesn't equal greater rapper.

On the other hand it's not as if Tupac didn't employ word play. Take a listen to the Me Against the World album, and songs like "If I Die 2Nite".

  • I'm not even sure what you are talking about buddy. I just said nas was top 5 not the best of all time and certainly not better than Pac. Are you just trying to start shit? Fucking Internet trolls kill me...and sorry but chuck d and krs aren't making many top 5's but they are great in their own right.

  • Ether isn't in your top 5?

  • still my alltime favorite Nas video.

  • yo i'm hot like 95 ferhenheit

  • 1) NY state a mind

    2) hip hop is dead

    3) I know I can

    4) halftime

    5) made you look

Nas is top five of all time

  • @Iluvcops911 Hmmm....Immortal Tech, KRS in his prime, Chuck D in his prime, Pac, Biggie...I think you are very wrong!

  • @lamareaton

If you take rappers in their prime then Nas alone would be the top5. Anyway, Immortal Technique is too much conspirancy theory (some things are real, though), Pac&Biggie overrated. KRS got bad, Chuck D also...Nas is now 17 years in the game...that's top 5 for sure.

  • @TheTechnique2010 See this is what I am saying, NAS fans are cult rap fans, they love the guys that can't sell, hate the guys that can sell. The are the first to say Jay was never any good, when about 5 years ago he was considered one of the best, they hate Em, say Biggie and Pac are overrated....All because the guy they think is the best, can't sell or hasn't come close to the guys I mentioned. I will just say, IF YOUR SHIT IS TIGHT, PEOPLE WILL BUY IT IN MASS! I'M TALKING 3 MILL OR MORE!

  • @lamareaton Imma Nas fan along with Jay, Pac, BIG, PE, NWA and a bunch of others that sell. You cant judge an artist by their album sales you punk motherfucker.

  • @0wnij Like I said, that's Cult talk! Who do most think is the best rapper of all time? Not cult fans, I mean the majority of people that listen to rap/hip hop? Clearly the answer is going to be Biggie, Pac, maybe Em and guess who what, those three have sold the most albums. So YOU say sales don't matter because you like Nas and he's not a big seller, but MOST rap fans BUY WHAT THEY CONSIDER THE BEST. THAT'S WHY SALES OF COURSE MATTER. Look up Pac/Biggie's sells if you don't believe.

  • @0wnij So youre saying Eminem is the GOAT just because of his album sales? Even though it's mostly just because he's a white rapper? Big L didnt sell much but he's still sick too. If you heard a sick rapper on the street for the first time would you stop listening to him if you figured out he only sold a 1000 copies?

KRS said it himself, rappers need to worry about their skill more than their advertising staff. People like you are just conformists

  • @TheTechnique2010 NAS never really could sell that much, Immortal never could, but Pac, Biggie and even Jay did back in the days. I know it's hard to believe but back in the old days, the 80's when I was a kid listening to REAL HIP HOP, groups like PE, NWA, EPMD were hard but still sold million or more, now these cats are so whack (like Nas), they can't get barely go gold! Like Pac said, he would sell 5 mil why those other niggas would struggle to sell 1, now you tell me who is better.

  • @lamareaton Nas is whack? wow you are basing that off sales. The only nas album that has failed to go gold from nas was distant relatives and its not like it was a whack album it just wasn't marketed well and did not get much radio play. That aside nas has over 13 platinum plaques and you are calling him whack? The reason those cats are not selling alot today is because they aren't coming out with little techno beats and cheap hooks that kids love today so they have to depend on the mature crowd

  • @lamareaton I am sure by your definition of what makes a whack rapper makes souljiah boy, gucci mane, wayne and drake great rappers right? Besides the majority of nas fans don't hate em in fact the majprity of nas fans probably have em in there top 5. It is a fact though that big and pac are overated due to there drama and conspiracy surrounding there deaths and due to the the fact that they died during there prime. I mean fans of pac and biggie like yourself would never say em was better than

  • @lamareaton both, even though his lyrical game is way above theirs'. Also MOST RAP FANS ARE TEENS, TEENS buy whatever has a good jingle and tune thats it. Back in the day pac and big were not considered the greatest in fact the major talk back then was nas, firm, rakim, etc. Its kinda like how everyone did not consider MJ anything speacial when he was alive, but when he died come on the internet and make a MJ joke or dis and see what happens to you. Also if nas is so whack y is he in almost
