I got it on around lvl 50, had taken a random group and did Stratholm, that was before the 1% drop chance, it was the 3rd time i did the dungeon and all my group (4 other players) needed ^^.

That's what i call luck.

Funny thing, never ran the place in my life got the key reset went to back entrance and watched a vid on how to do didnt drop was like eh ill try again go through the place scroll down loot IM LIKE HOLY SHIT 2nd time through EVER 20 minutes of farming maybe and it drops:))))) feel bad for all those people who farm and never win stuff got very lucky made my day GL everyone!:D

My heart did sink when the new patch came out and looked at the new drop rate. Blizzard doesn't announce these things in advance! Still though, I made a lot of gold, had a lot of fun, and helped a lot of people achieve this goal, so it all worked out in the end. Before I quit the game I also had the Deathcharger drop for my Deathknight, very nice!

its a 1% drop chance, if u want it, you usually have to try about 60 times, but some people are luck and get it way sooner

gratz and to all who don't know it. It was the rarest mount ever in the game before patch 3.09 or another patch i don't remember the drop rate was 0.1% that mean's 1 out of 1000 runs!! but now it is 1% means 1 out of 100 run's and still i am on my 50th run and still no god damn mount! so the drop rate should be 50% for me getting. Yes i know it isn't 50% but the drop rate get's higher for every kill

Just try to make it as efficient and profitable as possible. the drop rate when it dropped for me was 1/1000, now it's 1/100 so your odds are much better. Good luck!

Gratz on drop. I got really lucky with mine. I looked in patch notes and saw they increased drop rate and that inspired me to try and get it. On my first run i get lost and finally i find him. Almost die killing him. and then it drops on the first time.

and btw to anyone who does think this is after the patch. just look..no achievment tab or pvp tab...and when he right clicked the deathcharger he didnt learn the spell...this is before 3.0 which makes this even more amazing.

I really admire the fact that you spent all that time farming, I would have given up after about 3 tries. Feel sorry for you now that the droprate has been raised. Still a mighty feat though, and a rare mount nevertheless. :)
