I'm really quite fond ( translation: smitten :P ) with the game and the main character and how they decided to go with it. But love, remember there are many games out there to fit your gadget needs. :)))

Folks, as prsnl45 said, this is an old trailer for the original game.

It was set in space and the glaive wasn't even a big part of the game. The devs decided that a more modern game set on earth would be more accessible to gamers so they ditched the future setting and came up with the virus/glaive idea and went from there.

The space stelth idea was original. The another zombie post apocalyptic cold war thing was a rip on gears of war, which digital extremes wanted badly. Epic games split with them, and they've been trying to copy them ever since. This was a step into originality.

I suppose that's personal preference, but I LOVE the futuristic, derelict space station setting. The morphing suit idea is awesome and seriously -- the war-torn version of earth or "x" planet that the new dark sector inhabits is all-too-familiar and WAY too overused. A space-based adventure would have been AWESOME. RIP old Dark Sector, I will miss you.
