  • Their characters most definitely should NOT have ended up together. He was a priest and she was a nun. The movie was perfect the way it was.

  • @pinkosmondfan While I agree the movie is nicer like this, nuns and priests HAVE ended up together before...

  • Love this old film, but sorry I don't like the song used for this clip. It just doesn't go with the film or time period it is set in.

  • "You must be a real shit-head. This is not what I asked for."

  • Wonderful!! Really enjoyed this - thanks so much

    :o)

  • Much appreciated. Thank you.

  • Thank you...

  • Great movie.

  • The song does not match what was really going on there.

They had a difference of opinion, and it was resolved in a way beyond both of their understanding...until the end.

  • @LIBEARYN I agree. The song has no relevnace to the movie, the time period or the religious life. It was a hear warmining story that inspired many vocations! Mine included!

  • Wow Friend your vid is wonderful wonderful congratulations!!!

  • right on actinghick25 and Nerweniel. i wish and wish they would find it! it was that they were on set and a priest was there taking care of the characterization of the church folk, and she thought it would be funny! hhaha what a shock he got, bing liked it though im sure

  • ,heheh yeah Ingrid and he should have been together:) Did you hear that funny story where they were filming the last scene and Ingrid---kissed him very passionately. And the poeple on set were all like "Ms. Bergman now we can't have that!" hehe I thought it was funny, thanks for this!

  • Yeah, I've heard that, I still have hopes that one day, the lost footage of that scene will be found again ;). Slim chance but a girl can dream :D!

  • hehee me too! Thanks...have you seen Autumn Sonata?, I just recently did, Ingrid was brillant!

  • Yeah, I have, I loved it, so sad but so brilliant. I do love hearing her speak Swedish.

  • yeah, she speaks a whole bunch of languages! I watched it and the script is just amazing, wish she was still here, I'd write her a letter telling her how influential she was to me. (I'm going into acting/theatre because of her)Thanks again!
