you know you used emil's mystic arte more times than i did on that one? i used Lloyd's 1 time. because my Lloyd dealt 23,000 damage in one hit. and you are not wielding the best sword in the game. Soul Blast is one of the best swords in the game. Only can get by doing a side quest in the balacruf mauseloeum with Richter. Be prepared for a battle with a lvl 200 phoenix and 2 lvl 100 galf beasts. my emil at that time was lvl 25 and i won. because i did it with a lvl 100 ice bear and Richter lvl 30

What I would do is stay so far away from him, because I take little or no damage and heal the ones who damaged severely. (I play as Marta, just so you know)

I may seem as an ass for some people but this game is a mistake for only coming out on the wii. If it was multi-platform or even just came out on PS3 and wii its sales would be higher and even probably loved more. Just a shame that such a good game is limited to a pretty bad system. It is one of the few games that are good for the system.

u use a arcane arte then hold down the B button to get the mystic arte acquired at lvl 30 for every character

@mcrfanatik92 have some strong monsters, lloyd and such are strong, but if you have a level 100 fenrir or sword dancer, you're doing better, and i'd recommend at least level 60 for both marta and emil

i was thinking about getting this game cause ive beat the tos like 11 times and i wanted to see the final boss battle and i got 2 questions. Is the game long like the first and is the ending goin to piss you off cause u wanna see what happens but u think there isnt goin to be another one?

1. no, it's only about 25-30 hours long, but still really good

2. the (true) ending didn't make me mad, but ToS had an obviuosly happy ending, ToS2 had an incredibly devastatingly sad ending on Emil's part.

I finished both Symphonia 1 and 2 twice, and many people don't like the second too much, and yes I find ToS2 lacking slightly in the gameplay and story length area, but it redeems itself so nicely with its story. It's not as long and epic as the first, but by the end...

When I was fighting this boss, a weird bug occurred. Marta was the last member standing, and then she cast resurrection. Just after casting Richter killed her, and, instead of game over the game considered as I won the battle! (The boss was with his HP nearly full)

After I beat Richter, I ended up killing Lloyd and Marta and ended up losing the game. D:

I should've switched my team around too... I used Emil (lvl54), Marta(lvl52), Fenrir (lvl63), Wolf Heddin (Lvl48).

He used his Mystic Arte against me 3 times too. D:

I should've used the skill Ability Plus too to use more artes, but I kept the elemental skills instead. :/

the final area would be better if there were more bosses aside from the final battles, Aqua, and Decus & Alice, though there arent many people left at this point so I guess its good with the amount they have...I just wish the place were longer...seriously, i was expecting the Ginnunga Gap to be much bigger, but it was very small...

I really hated this fight, and the one wih dex and alice, but my problem with this one was that every time my combo would go above 10000 dmg, he would counter with his mystic art, and I would conveniently have all my people get hit by his shock wave finish, knocked to 1 hp, and then he would warp behind either marta or raine and kill them, then kill the other one.

Yes he is... The two fights after this one are either meant to be lost or you don't have to win. Only reason to win the "last" fight is for more Grade.

Let´s suppose you are not playing as Emil, can you have Emil in your party but fighting as Lloyd? that´s something it´s been haunting me down these days... 2nd: I´ve heard about a Golden Sun thing, you can keep your previous data from the first game before you start this one... does it affect the lv. of the old characters or something? please, answer me....

you can play as Lloyd but you cant put him in the first slot...you'll have to switch to him every battle if you wish to play as him

If you have Clear Data from the first ToS game on your Gamecube memory card, you can use it at the start of a new game to get some items early....thats it, it doesnt affect the ToS characters in any way...

Hold B while doing an Arcane Arte with the Special skill equipped. Emil and Marta gets them at level 30.

Zelos as your healer

lloyd as your second attacker

Fenir as your third attacker 90+ for high dmg

Trust me this fight is easy with this party.

I recommend using alpha sword rain to build Unison then switch to lloyd and use his mystic arte. Zelos's mystic does a nice amount of dmg if your trying to save lloyd for another time in the battle. Hopes this helps for people that are fighting him :3
