@SpecialOperations It would certainly kill at that distance. However, it all depends on the rounds you use... if you use very good quality ammunition (like match-grade, high velocity) you can get pretty admirable ranges and accuracy out of a .22 rifle on the range!

A gatling gun is fired by turning a handle which acts as a trigger, so technically you are just pulling the trigger over and over again, which makes it a non-automatic. A weapon that can have the trigger pulled and held for continuos fire is illegal unless you have the stamp, live in a state that allows it, and have the thousands to buy an automatic.

Even with a .22 hit any major organ or artery and you're s.o.l. Even getting hit in an arm or a leg can incapacitate you, despite what you see in action movies. And this gatling would leave you felling like Swiss cheese. That and if you had the facilities you could make improvements like light weight composts, arm mount, laser sight, quick ammo drum change, etc. That is just some of the obvious stuff. So many fun options and modifications. not to mention increasing the caliber.

I've heard many stories, various places, websites, TV shows, news reports, that have people getting shot in the head with a .22 and the skull deflecting it. If you can get past the skull once, it will bounce around and scramble your brain. .22's are great for target shooting and MAYBE small animals like rabbits. Maybe assassinations. Personally, I use a S&W model 10 .38
