I just have to clarify, Chris Tomlin did not write Amazing grace... He adapted it from the already well loved hymn written by John Newton in 1773.

He had a really astounding testimony and story leading up to the writing of the song. It involved him in the slave trade and being hit by a storm that made him think he was going to die. It's AMAZING!
