i was really disappointed of those small screens, the handling is horrible. I normaly fly Lufthansa their entertaiment is much better.

As far as i know all international United 777 have entertainement systems like in my video.

On this flight i didn't have any games. Only movies.

They have PTVs, but I don't know about games. I think you just get movies and a GPS map.

Does anyone know if this is available on the 767's? Also, is the in flight entertainment 'on demand' or not?

Hi, on this flight, entertainement was not on demand, movies were running in loops on each channel.

Yes...it is available on all of United's aircraft, but it is at the discretion of the pilot. Some have Channel 9 on, some don't. The 767 three-cabins all have the On-Demand systems now, and the 747s as well. 777s are being converted this year. I am a flight attendant for UA...hope this helps you!

I only had a 777 once on UA. I changed job so now i don't fly that much.... So i can not tell if all of their 777 have personal tvs.

Anyway, i was always pleased with UA onboard service. Definetly one of my fav. airline ! :)

Unefortunately the onboard entertainement was switched off when on ground :(

Hi, on this flight the PTV's where not "on demand"... You had lot's of movies, recent and old one playing in loop during the flight.

When i was flying from LHR-LAX, i switched on channel 9 and i played a game with my friend to find the plane the ATC were talking about.

I was able to listen to ATC when I flew a red-eye from LAX-IAD on the ground. But IDK about intl flights.

yeah it turns out i was able to, although sometimes it was switched off. ive gotta say though united is a great airline, although the middle is very cramped in the last few rows...i wouldnt recommend sitting there hahaha
