  • Good music and cool bike.

  • when you start monkeying with motor mods you open the door to breakage and maintenance issues. but it looks more like a saturday night bike rather than a bike for riding serious miles so you probably wont be far from home when trouble happens. i hope youre good at fixing it.

  • @vetryder Actually I've never had a problem with the bike I still have it, I've put over 20k miles on it since I did all of the "mods". Just rode it from FL to TN no problems.

  • @wifimonkey thats good, cuz i've known a lot of occasions where people tweaked and modded their motors and then had problems. i was told by a mechanic that its because these motors arent designed to make a bunch of extra horsepower. theyre designed to ride and enjoy the way they are. if somebody wants power theres Ninjas and CBR's etc.

  • Hello greatings from Norway:) i have a 1997 sportster xl 883 with a 1200 bore kit., and i want to have the engien tottaly blacked out like you have , but what kind paint did you use? Anders.

  • @GCANDY100 I used a Hotrod Flat Paint and Baked it on. I had to completely disassemble the motor to do it. You can buy the Harley Flat Black in the Can online it works pretty good just just have to fix the chips every once in a while.

  • @wifimonkey Okey thanks for the answer:) yeas gonna have to take the engien out anyway because got some kindof bad nocking sound:s, so got some work to do,but its snow outside anyway so:s took the fenders, fuel and oiltank of yeasterday for painting, Still havent decided if I should paint the rims to..

  • @GCANDY100 powdercoat is way better way to go than paint.

  • where did you get those heads ?? also the cams are for those heads, right ???

  • @ivansuarex Heads and the Cams were just purchased from my local HD Dealer when I bought the 1250cc Kit. I had the Sleeves bored for the 1250cc Pistons due to cost was cheaper.

  • I think about 70 to 74 horses on experience

  • Nice Job. :)

  • haha....you said drill out the muff!

  • how'd u like the 1250 kit? I'm doing 94' 1250 with stage 2 883 heads and .497 se cam and drag pipes with stock ign and carb. How many miles did u rack on the 1250 was their any probs??? I don't have mine done yet I put the cams in yesterday and fucked a piston ring up and had to stop :(. damn amateurs haha....... it really isn't funny kinda sucks

  • haha that muffler stutter was hilarious, nice build though. Around what does it cost to do the 883 to 1200 conversion?

  • lol yeah...tongue tied...but you can look at anywhere from $400-$2000 depends on what you wanna do. If you do the full top end like Jugs, Pistons, Heads you can look at atleast $1000 if its all new. If you just do jugs, piston about $400. If you just put the jugs, pistons you will still out run a stock 1200

  • how is the build coming?

  • The bike is all together just having LOTS OF PROBLEMS With the wiring harness I added the nightster turn signals and now nothing on the bike works! hmmm just trial and error

  • @wifimonkey I found out that when I connected the kit I shorted the unit out, replaced the unit problem fixed all is good.

  • Nice bike. No other bike looks like a Sporty. Good background music, too...love Gimme Shelter.

  • where can I find a 1250cc kit?

  • thanks! I'm currently doing a 100% rebuild on the bike as a winter project...Have it striped to the bone and going to repaint the bike the same colors just in hotrod flatz and ive also sent the case off to have bored for the 90' kit as well as stage 3 head job...im making a video of the build should be done by late feb early march

  • Great job man......respect for you!!!

  • Had it bored yet?

  • yeah its bored with a 1250cc kit

  • I'm about to take the motor and bore the case out for the 90in Kit and have the heads modded into the NHRS Stage 3 also upgrade the exhaust

  • dan is good, you'll have a screamer.

  • i dunno anything about bikes but this is very nice!
