you should shorten the crossfades lenght a lot, so you the instruments sound more real. i think 5ms should do

@ashwalk85 I used imovie for this and i will reluctantly admit that i'm not really sure what you're talking about. Still really new at this stuff so any info would be much appreciated :)

@joeberrymusic Ok: when you assemble the edited notes, you are using the video clip's audio, right? I movie automatically "blends" the end of one file's audio with the start of the next one's. There's a default time value for that transition, which ends up hiding the beggining and end of the note, making it sound weird. if you shorten that, you'll get a better result. Try the shorter value possible (without "clicking). Make sure every transition has the same value.

The best way to make this kind of video is kind of advanced: you should record the audio separately with timecode, edit the video and use an EDL (edit decision list) to sync audio and video clips...
