These guys have been around forever. They were on KPFA every week in the middle of the night, you'd call in and they'd mix your call into the music, just do whatever and they'd mix you into it as long as you were interesting. My and my friends would sit in the dark, listening to them. I kinda miss that.

I love Negativland. I do. Are they the best thing ever? No.

The first time I heard them, me and my pals were headed on an iHop run. It came on a college station we happened by, and grabbed our attention.

We were all terrified. And no one said a word.

Powerful thing.
