I like to play Mordy cowboy style. Sort of a mix of a gunslinger and a survivalist but with a Scavenger class mod. It's fun to use revolvers because they're good at any range. It's so satisfying to score long-range shots with an open-sighted weapon. Oddly enough, shotguns are my most-used weapons when playing Mordy while revolvers are my most-used while playing Roland. Oh, and Mordy rocks with his saber. Some players forget to make full use of his melee abilities.

If you play hunter, put your sensitivity down. It will help alot if you have sniper with zooms like x4.2

@djmbubba True thing. But a skilled sniper with a good skill tree can kill bandits with a single headshot and bruisers with 2, first playthrough, equal levels. Ignoring shields is so badass.

@ThePIXN you can pick up any type of gun no matter what character you are and your character will become naturally better the more you use it. the hunter class though is focused on sniping and pistols because of his 'perks'. e.g. i put most of my skill points for my hunter on the 'sniping' more than anything so its way easier for me to snipe, and gives extra benefits like my bullets bi-pass shields :)

you have to experiment with each character too !

With Brick there are two "sniper" type class mods. Blast Master combined with Detinating Cobra=GORY WIN. For any non-explosive weapons the "Common Man" works like a charm giving increased damage and acurracy. Works crazy with regen weapons.

personly i love going bombadier with brick, with the right launcher you are a personal orbital strike lol, just love blowing the sh1t out of anything that moves. And at the moment it seems i am on the quest for the holy grail, that is i am after the Undertaker launcher, droooool. Just cant seem to find one

If your playing as the hunter,its best to hurry and max out the trespass skill. Doing this makes the game much more easier,then work on maxing out his bloodwing skills.

i loved to play the hunter put actually it sucked

against animals you're fucked unless you maxed at least the final rogue talent and humans with ranged weapons have such an incredible range, they ALLWAYS hit you

but worst was going through the story mode bosses alone

imagine even trying to fight the final boss alone with a sniper rifle -.-

though that doesn't matter because borderlands is obviously focused on multiplayer. and for the hunter i even skipped my usual choice of the healing class

go sniping till level 25 so u get the 100% armor penetration then the rest of the game doesnt really matter. after that then i went critical. bird skills are lame i never use that damn thing. but hunter is the best class in my opinion if u take my advice not his lol.

Bozkurt869, Im a Hunter and that means Usually when you kill someone or Something That will lead to more Items that they would normally drop. So if he dropped 160 Dollars he would drop down more cash since you have that. The team part means that when they are playing with you they will find more items because of that mod. So yea i have Team ammo Regenaration whitch means My team will never lose ammo. Its like the have Infinite Ammo. im Level 61, Because i killed Crawmerax alot. Happy Hunting

I've got a not bad sniper rifle with over 270 damage (on 23 lvl) but 1 mag holds only 3 bullets and the reload is pretty slow so I changed it to the with the 9 bulletz (semi-auto) and damage somethin about 170 - good 4 QuickScoping ;D

@egomaniac654 I usually have my main sniper and an inaccurate powerful revolver, along with a more accurate less damaging pistol and my 4th weapon is usually an empty slot or a crap gun. I find that using only two weapon types has made my character much stronger with snipers and pistols than most other people my level.

Gunslinger build with an S&S thanatos or Python is amazing for hunter. since you have a 40% chance to double your damage or get killer shots or both. Not to mention the shooting through shields. All that plus a mod that ups your handgun fire rate by 75% and +15 ammo regen for handguns is amazing. One shot kills player vs player with my python.

Bloodwings actually end up surprisingly helpful if you're a hunter caught in a close range situation.

bloodwing is the worst action skill, it kills a max of 2 people so not really useful, the Scorpio is best cause its basically that brother/sister you don't have

Ugh, does anyone else have an issue where sometimes there shots don't hit what they should? I know accuracy plays a big roll (and mine is high thanks to skills and, wep, and mod for acc + crit %) but it feels like sometimes when I'm shooting even when I'm close enough that you can't physically miss and yet you still do. I had my gun right on the ass of one of the antlion things today and couldn't hit it. :|

I hate how people rip on the hunter. Not that I'm saying you did, I just noticed in a few of the last videos I watched people claimed he was "next to useless" which is so not true. I find while playing with my friends that I do more dmg then most of them. All you have to do is not be stupid and hit critical spots. Something gets close or my ammo gets low my soldier friend drops his turret which nukes anything, heals me and replenishes my ammo.
