Wonderful tone, beautiful velvety sound.

Open to suggestions? You seem to have good control over your vibrato, but just make the vibrato 'waves' closer together. Will make for a very nice feathery vibrato :)

Thanks YE, Much appreciated, actually the reed was about to go, you know, get really buzzy. Sometimes you get lucky moments like that. Today, new reed, yuk :-( I seem to go through a lot before I find one I like.

Cheers ulli, the trick with subtone is a nice flexible reed and lots of abdominal breathing. I have always subtoned though, and it can be a curse too....

Depending on what I'm doing depends on whether or not I'll use subtone, really. It's great in this situation, and you sound very nice in the vid by the way. Excellent playing! I don't use subtone too often, though. I'm more into Rock on a saxophone. My favorite Rock solo is the one from Urgent by Foreigner played by Junior Walker
