Does anyone know the name of the song that is played right after Malaguena Salerosa during the credits? shown during the black/white final credits while the protagonist is driving a car. Thank!
Although most characters in Kill Bill are fictious, there really was legendary samurai named Hattori Hanzo who lived in 16th century. Not only that, but the character appears in Japanese TV series Shadow Warriors, where he was also played by Sonny Chiba.
Two actors play two roles in Kill Bill, although they appear in only one role in each movie. Gordon Liu plays Johnny Mo in Volume 1 and Pai Mei in Volume 2. Michael Parks plays Sherrif Earl McGraw in Volume 1 (he also played same role in several other Tarantino movies) and Esteban Vihaio in Volume 2. While Liu's characters are central in their chapters, both Parks's roles are small and he only has few lines.
Character of Gogo Yubari was originally planned to be killed in an instant within few seconds, while her sister Yuki would be much more important character and Volume 2 was supposed to begin with her revenge of her sister's death. In end Yuki was completely cut from the movies and all her lines went to Gogo.
Role of Bill was originally created for Warren Beaty, but he was unable due to other commitments. It was Beaty who recommended David Carradine to Tarantino for the role. Another actor who was offered role of Bill was Kevin Costner, but he passed it.
These 2 movies is most legendary for having actors who were mostly unknown or little known at time of making the movies, but being propelled to huge stars after it. This mostly goes for Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu, Michael Madsen and Vivica Fox, who made quite a careers after this. Sony Chiba (Hattori Hanzo) and Gordon Liu (Johnny Mo/Pai Mei) were already huge stars in Asia, while these movies introduced them to Western audiences.
Tarantino originally planned for O-Ren Ishii to be pure blood Japanese woman, but changed his mind when he met Lucy Liu, who is Chinese-American. She impressed him enough to change his mind.
Volume 1 depicts deaths of 41 people, while in Volume 2 only 3 people are shown killed (Budd, Pai Mei and Bill). Elle Driver's death is implied but is not shown in movie. While in first movie all deaths were at hands of The Bride, her only victim in Volume 2 was Bill (Pai Mei and Budd were killed by Elle Driver). Only characters who are probably dead by the end, but are not shown, are Sofi Fatale and Elle Driver.
@mirtom82 Acctualy I made small mistake in previous message. Out of 41 murders in Volume 1, 40 were at hands of The Bride. Only person that wasn't killed by her was Chief Tanaka, who was murdered by O-Ren Ishii.
cool, the bride violates nearly all the laws in physics and I'm talking hard core laws like the conservation of momentum but hey, it's entertainment so let the blood flow woooooooo !!!!!
i am only 14 and i consider this move my favorite. i love everything about it! i love the cheesy music and dialouge! i dont even like ninjas or kung fu but these two movies are great!! if i could watch this every day i would!! i even bought the sound track!! <3
TARANTINO INGENIOUSLY SELECTS BEAUTIFUL MELODIES USED IN 1960 CLINT EASTWOOD MOVIES THAT ARE NOW PUBLIC DOMAINE...STILL I GIVE "QT" CREDIT .....................................................I CANT WAITE FOR KILL BILL 3......AS CARADINES DAUGHTER AND VERNITA'S DAUGHTERS GO TO THE SAME SCHOOL FOLLOW PARENTS FOOT STEPS IN CRIME..AND TAKE REVENGE ON KIDDO ....YOU HEARD IT 1ST FROM ...ONE AND ONLY >>>~~~ARROWKEYBOARDMAN~~~>
I love this movie I've seen it like 100 time and still I want to see it again , I think Elle is my favorite character she used a black mamba to kill Bob how ironic and what a bitch! hjajajajaj I just love her, by the way is malagueÑÑÑÑa ok thumbs up to spanish speaking people! jajajaja or maybe jajaja
@alaru Oh my god dude, now that i know what this song is about it's got to be the saddest song i've ever heard! I've been in a similar situation with a Spanish Girl.
omg isnt it?? one of the best endings to a movie next to kill bill one..u gotta believe that when kb 1 was release..and that ending hits with bill saying"does she know her daughter livedd?" omfg then qeuntin ques that music..so wish i could have been in the theaters opening night for both films....
Fuck you all. I'm only looking for the kill bill 1 end credits because it has the best song in the series, maybe that I've ever heard and of course, All I get is this bullshit, with screenshots from part 1.
