  • That tune playing in the background the beginning of the vid. What is it??? (:

  • Does the lady doing it have it like, threaded through her nose peircing??? O.O

  • My mom and sister got this doneeeee...!!!

She said it sucked cuz it grew back so fast o:

  • im very pleased with my eyebrows i got it done today!! it hurts bad!! but it takes about a month to grow back!!

  • shit you can do that at home its fucking cheap you use thread why buy that treatment? Oh and it is painful if you dont pull out the hair fast enough. Just have to practice i guess.

  • asheema is gorgeous! her eyebrows are absolutely exquisite. I would so marry her. by the way, what was the song that played at 2:00? it was dope as hell.

  • THEY THAT SHITT HURTS

  • wats the song @ 2:00? or all of them? help? thanks :))

    XO

  • @tarasdj Bindia chamkege - the remix and the last one is aap ke nazron by bally sagoo ft gunjan

  • does it hurt to get your eyebrows threaded?

  • @mandalovesyou1107 yes it does !! i always thead them with my mom!! but its worth it !! and good results !! but u can get usto it!!

  • OMG their playing my favorite songs!!

  • wat r the songs called? lol

  • hell its 15 dollar in malls lol

  • i just got my eyebrows threaded today and it was $5! :)

  • its 6.99 where im at...its worth it though!

  • Its good and cheap only £2 :)

  • mine only charges 8=]

  • Here in India, threading is the only method of hair removal from brows. Most people are not aware of waxing (eyebrows) and those that do go to more western salons that are exorbitantly expensive. Here it costs something like 15 rupees (thats perhaps less than a dollar if my math is correct). Threading doesnt hurt much, the only problem is shaping the brow is rendered difficult.

  • 15 rupees? In delhi it costs at least 30-40 rupees!

  • At expensive beauty salons sure.. but the small parlours round the corners cost much less at max 20 rupees for eyebrows and upper lips. Ive never in my life paid more than that ever.!! Never had to. And im born and brought up in South Delhi.!

  • I see... when I was in delhi I went to different beauty parlors and not all are good at shaping eyebrows, so I don't mind paying a little bit more for the best result, anyway waxing in my country would cost much more.

  • when I was in delhi I tried diff parlors and not all were as good at shaping eyebrows so I didn't mind paying a few rupees more for the best result. Anyway, if you have a good cheap place to suggest please share it with me and next time in delhi I'll go there

  • Id be glad to suggest some ... if you travel to south delhi next.. you could try this place called 'Benison' , or a 'Tips n Toes' .. theres even a 'Dolls Den'.

These are quiant little shops in a manner of speaking where the lady of the house usually runs the place along with a couple of assistants. The skill is in the hand .. generally it is the senior .. more experienced ladies that are the experts at threading.. just my opinion.

  • thanks, I already have my fav salon in south delhi, and all the workers were good at threading there, even yung ones so I guess it was the training. was curious to know of the cheaper ones you said though.

  • Alternatively, For the upmarket and expensive options... there are always the established (brand) names in the market eg - Lakme , Madonna , Shehnaz Hussain who have a chain of salons / parlors all around Delhi.

  • it doesnt hurt at all, but it does cause skin irritation .. it doesnt matter if its not touching the skin, its still pulling the hair out of the skin, so it will cause redness and bumps like waxing.

but its faster and pain free, well for me !

  • pain free??

well no its not, it hurts

  • Like I said, for me it didn't hurt at all.

    And neither did waxing.

It all depends on your pain tolerance.

  • If this hurts your a complete wuss. Honestly.. if you think threading hurts try and epilator. its better than waxing and is less stressful than tweezing.

  • rawr that shit hurts lol i git it dun it was like only 5 dollers its nice tho everything xcept da pain

  • omg if ur even concidering it, you should so do it! it hurts as much as plucking, so take that as u will, but the shape after is perfect...i got it done on vacation (no spot near home) and spent 10 and a tip, and she plucked some virgin hair, so i did bleed, but now i noe how they should look, and pluck/thread along the same line at home

  • Mine hurt, but it was my first time getting them threaded. I dont have a lot of hair; my eyebrows are close to being thin.

  • It doesnt hurt at all, unless you got a lot of hair and your eyebrowns hair is too thick

  • i just got mine done a few days ago, it hurts sooooooo much!!! i used to wax but it was more expensive(waxing £5 threading £3) and the line is never as neat and sharp as threading!!! but the pain it terrible..............

  • Dude I totally went to this EXACT same place!

    It was amazing

    they did wonders

  • how much does it cost?

  • If I remember it right, around 8 dollars.

  • oh ok thanks

  • I got mine done this Saturday and I was charged 11 dollars

  • oh, u went to a more expensive place i guess. :)

  • I have the little pamphlet and it says they charge 11 now. :) It says the same thing on their website.

  • This looks incredibly interesting. Too bad there isn't a place around where I live that provides this service.

  • they usually have it at the mall u should check your.... it hurts like hell.... they say it last a month no it doesnt.... maybe 2weeks.... i will b at the nail shop getting mine waxed

  • Wow, Ashima is so pretty!

  • Does threading hurt?

I have had bad experiences with waxing, so I don't really want to do it anymore. I want to try threading...

  • I've heard it hurts a little initially but I've heard it's not as bad as waxing. I also heard that waxing will cause your skin to sag over time from pulling. Threading doesn't cause this.

  • I tryed it a couple of days ago and its not that bad. i loved it but with waxing they pull all the hair at once with threading it takes a while

  • not gonna lie...it is a bit painful. to me it hurts more than plucking and of course waxing, i like waxing cu i dont feel a thing. but threading is the best, the pain is definatly worth it so give it a try

  • it hurts bad.... i wont say i will never do it again but i will be getting it waxed til i build up the courage to go again.... and as far as the sagging with the waxing its a no go my skin is still tight ive been doing it 3yrs

  • nahh, threading doesnt hurt as much as waxing!

And you get a better result. For me, only the first time hurt... now im all good

  • what i live in pomona and i never seen this place..

    were is it at?

  • PLEASE REPLY

my mum might book me to have it done,

    and im really scared!!

    how long does it take?

and does it reeli reeli hirt? :'(

  • nah you dont even feel it.

I do it to myself all the time, it hurts less then waxing and plucking.

  • gawd it hurt so freakin bad when i got this done. my eyes started to tear up for goodness sakes. XD. looked good after tho. lol.

  • My friend got it done in Iraq. Said her eyebrows looked great.

  • It hurts, but threading causes you hair to grow thinner and finer over time. You will find it hurts less and less every time you get it done.

I went to one women in India who was SO good at it that it didn't even hurt a bit!

  • wat is this music i want it!

  • i have been waxing my brows for 10 years (im 25) - i have very coarse, black eyebrow hair with light skin and keeping them natural is not an option for me. I do have sensitive skin and waxing definetley aggravates the skin and sometimes the entire area scabs up.

people with different skin types will always prefer different methods. for those with skin very sensitive to waxing, i reccomend threading. it takes a little longer but doesnt hurt your skin and the results are awesome

  • haha. Nice to have a guys perspective i guess.

  • lmao yes it is

I get my brows done every 2 weeks

I'm not gay ,i'm straight. I just take good care of myself

-Threading is annoying and takes long + you have to do part of the job yourself by holding your skin near your eye during the process

-Waxing is one strip applyed then 'Whip''!

    That's it

My waxing take 60 secs which is equal to a min

    =D lol

  • im 13 and it does not hurt maybe you need to grows some balls! it takes five min.!

  • i hate waxing! it breakes the skin, and causes early wrinkling.

  • yea yea yea.......shut up

    :)

  • its always best to leave it natural (my opinon so dont go bitching on me) anywayz, its always best to leave it natural becuz then u wont have to worry about doing them all the time and having to go thru the pain and hassle. but, if ur like me and have alredy started, id honestly go for threading. The first time might hurt a little, but if u do it regularly, u'll be fine. never, i mean NEVER!! go for waxing, waxing pulls the skin and makes the skin around ur eyes weak and dark. hope i helped :)

  • the eyebrows looked very nice after they were done!!

  • BUT their just sayin that both hurt waxin and threadin but threadin doesn't pull off skin, and waxin does,

  • I don't get as good results when I go for waxing. The shape always comes out more refined when I get them threaded.

  • Does the thread just cut the hair? or pull it out? I couldn't tell, but I get told this is a very good technique.

  • pulled out

  • threading pulls the hair out n its better than waxing cuz it pulls stray n stubborn hairs!! also its better 4 ur eyebrow skin since waxing tugs them a lott!

  • the thread pulls the hair.

  • Does it hurt?

  • a little bit ;) but the result is much better than wax

  • this isnt a fad. threading has been around for hundreds of years...

  • @ericexclusive it a fad to me didnt here bout it till 2008 and its great!

    love it

  • @ericexclusive A fad isn't just something thats new, noob.

  • @ericexclusive but that is true that it isn't one one of the latest.

  • Such an amazing yet complicated method! Indians are so creative!

  • Hmm, I might try it sometime. And was it weird, that the indian music playing in the store is the same song i have on my iPod? and haha I'm not even indian.

  • there's a shop in Long Beach

  • Not a fad. I get my brows threaded every month. It's the best option for me.

  • This store is right down the street from me :)

  • You want a cookie?

  • those looks good. ;D

idk if we have a threader where im from..

    tennesse?

oh well ill just wax mine. ;o

  • a lot of times you can go to a local popular mall and they have someone there to do it.

i'm from minnesota and there's someone here who does it. i just got mine done today.

    they look great!

    i highly recommend it.

  • WHat the SONGS ON HERE. Can anyone name them.

  • i was just there and i loved it

    (hurts just a little though)

    2 thumbs way up

    Totally Recommended!!!

  • Anyone know any threading places in Miami?

  • I'm a threader in corpus christi area, I have 8 years of experience, if anyone is interested call me at 832-858-1786

  • i looooooooooove gettin my eye brows threaded. if i dont go every 3 weeks i feel incomplete!!! lol.. it does hurt a bit but the result is well worth it. a little more painful than waxing but it creates a wayyyy better shape and it lasts longer too. the one in memphis that i go to only charges 7 dollars to do them.

  • o next time i come to memphis i need to go there, where is it?

  • it on american way and mt. moriah...its called bombay and its n the same shopping center as the old walmart...level II (club)...and other stuff

  • That explains why indian women have such great eyebrows!

  • wow those look gud!!!

  • this one is in Rancho???? wow im gonna go not far from my house!

  • You all need to calm down. Threading is done in Africa and Asia, traditionally. It's now spread all over the world. Just find a good threader and get on with life. Dayum!

  • gosh does anyone know the song at 2:02?!

  • No, it rips the hair out at the base, so it's more like waxing but more precise

  • o ok...woops...is it better than waxing??doesnt it hurt more?

  • i have heard it hurts more and i've also heard it hurts less.. you usually hear it hurts less though. and i've never had it done (don't know where to get it done around where i live) but it's supposed to be better because it's way more accurate and probably more sanitary

  • i think it hurts way way way less!!! u should try it!! it doesn't take long either!

  • where is this place exactly cuz im from pomona

  • Victoria Gardens mall next to Lucille's :)

  • thank you...would u happen to know how much they charge?

  • Well, it used to be 10 bucks. Now, I think it's 11.

  • thank you

  • I've never done this. Does anyone know how it reacts to really sensitive skin?

  • It only pulls out hair. It wont pull out skin. Therefore, it wont cause breakouts or anything of that sort. It's the same as plucking but more efficient. Your skin may be a bit red, but it fades after a few hours.

  • My friend has the most sensitive skin ever! and she loves it, she goes all the time to get them thread.

  • It is very easy and this orignates from india! im indian and i do eyebrow threading!

  • lol who u trying to kid? this originiated in arabia and the middle east caravans brang this to pakistan and india go read wikipeida or something you will see im right

  • Wikipeida is not all knowing...

    ~ have a nice day ! ♥

  • nor yours, cause persia is not arabia! and thats where its from.

  • sorry to burst your bubble but this is another persian invention.

  • It did originate from India but also Persia.

  • They do the eyebrowthreading in India!

  • anyone in sydney I can go to for threading? please email me on youtube! I have the thickest eyebrows and need this!

  • Thick eyebrows are nice, and many men like them.

  • Ever seen a woman without eyebrows, or with just a thin line, because they look awfull.

  • i have neva done anything to my eyebrows

reason am a no no to pain

    so does it hurt

  • Threading we doing that in peru also from many years ago ....

  • i just got this done today!

  • I hope those ladies are Esthetician license.

  • vietnamese people know how to do it to, but faster and better!!!

  • i might get my eyebrows done later, but im really scared lol

  • Dont be its fine, think about all the people who have it done if it was that bad people wouldnt go back time an time again.... waxing and tweezing hurts more than threading :-) x

  • I don't agree that this orginated in India :P

  • They do originate in india

    Where did it orignate?

and yes it orginated in middle east aswell,

    ahha

its funny how sum pppl actually pay like 15 pound to get there eyebrow done // white ppl -you have no ideaa .. they think its sum luxury thing .. i pay like 2 pounds for mine

i thread mine .. gives a betetr look to eyebrows makes them in shape and cleaner

  • wrong this originated in PERSIA, you know iran.

  • White people? Racist much?

  • threading was first done in india dumb asses

  • dumshittt its from PERSIA

  • ya i do it my self and i am not a arab not to be raices it is easy to do maybe i will post a video on how to do it

  • Well, I'm a white American girl, and I just got this done today. I think it'd a very cool alternative to tweezing and waxing. I'd love to learn how to do it myself, but it looks kind of difficult.

  • we arabs usually do that at home by ourselves, i thread my eyebrows myself using a thread and a tweezer

  • threading is very common in the middle east..and arab countries it is waay better then waxing or shaving

  • Does getting your eyebrows threaded cause acne breakouts?

  • no, waxing might because of the chemicals. this is a 100% natural.

  • I always get a few little breakouts from it, but not near as bad as waxing!

  • How short or long does the hair have to be to get threaded? Im excited, I wanna try this!

  • dose anybody know any Eyebrow Threading in bayside NYC???????please give me the location

  • the one in new york is in Manhattan, i think it was close to the manhattan mall, it was near the catholic church St fransis Of Assi

  • the one that's on when she's having her eyebrows donne

  • Does any one know who sings that song in the background?

  • the one playing right at the end is a Bally Sagoo remix, sang by Gunjan and it's called aap ki nazaron

  • thanks

  • wat r the other songs called? @ 2:02?

  • I moved to Miami from cali and I can't seem to find any eyebrow thereading please help if any one know of one in miami

  • thats nice but i dont need to spend money hehe cos i thread my own eyebrows its so great!

  • i used to get my brows shaped up by my personal barber for 11 years (he sometimes would razor them super thin, or uneven, blech) so I decided after waiting for months to grow back to try the threading. i walked in the shop in NYC downtown and it was packed! I started to leave and the male receptionist followed me downstairs to say "wait, you're next!"

Anyway, it hurt the first time but I liked the results! Much better than shaving! Try it, you'll like it!

  • hey yeah i SO reccomend threading, cheap but AMAZING. they should charge a lot more but hey i'm not saying they have to lol. waxing is annoyingly painful, a lot less precise & sometimes more hair comes off than you wanted

  • I get my eyebrows threaded

    professionally, while I wax them

myself when I feel like it. :P

In any case, yeah. I like threading

    a lot better.

Where I live, it costs 4 dollars.

  • I first learned of this techniques some hrs ago from a student in cosmotology school. The place I went to in the city I relocated from charged $7 and the were so busy you had to take a number like at a deli. Since I've moved, I've gotta find a new spot...wish me luck. Nothing else I've tried gives me brows this cleans.

  • if you are in NYC I can recommend a place..Also from M-W, $20 for Mani-Pedi!

  • does anyone know what are the places that this girl are mentioning because i cant really hear it

  • threading way better than waxing, been doin it for years...eyebrows more defined, shapely, natural and cheaper...

  • i WAX MAH EYEBROWS, BUT i WANNA KNOW WATZ BETTER... THREADiNG OR WAXiNG?

  • threading. it lasts longer, and is better than your skin because waxing pulls the skin and will cause wrinkles and age faster. (:

  • threading its more precise and better looking

  • how much duz it cost?

  • i tried threading in for the first on my trip to new york and i loved it. the results were alot more perfect than waxing

  • i used to pay $5 to get it done by a professional...It's good for the women, but for me, my eyebrows look better natural, and with a dark blonde tint dye job :p

  • i alway wanted to do that

  • omg i wanna get my eyebrows threaded so bad but my mom says she knows i'll start crying & complaining about the pain so i have to stick to tweezing :(

  • I don't think it's any more painful than tweezing :) I've never used the threading technique before but it can't hurt that bad. At least not any more than tweezing for the first time. After a while you'll get used to it anyway.

  • Thanks! I think I'm gonna get mine done for prom

  • really it is less painful that tweezing. I love threading. I think it is relaxing and makes your face smooth.

  • pretty cool way of plucking hairs. seriously though i would never fucking pay a hundred dollars to pluck hairs i can labor myself upon. lameeeee. but cool. but more lame than cool.

  • threading can't compare to tony's plucking.

watch his tutorial on my channel

  • omg that's amazing! ~Angela

  • eh can show the before and after?

  • how the hell is this a 'latest fad', its a bloody ancient technique!!!
