An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).
I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.
My BLOG @ samzurick*dot*com contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers". THANKS!!
Short bursts with a garden hose from across the street might be interesting.
Yeah, you plug the hose into the water faucet connected to your basement wash tubs. Run 100 feet of hose through your house to the window highest up and closest to the transformer. Make sure the hose has HOT WATER running through it and then send out short bursts (no more than 10 feet long) and then have a gap of at least 5 seconds or more. Keep doing this and eventually you'd blow the whole pole.
There were no transformers involved here!! Everybody who knows little about power transmission blames transformers which very rarely if ever, explode!! The bright yellow-orange light is a result of the line arcing directly to the wood of the fallen tree branch. The fault went on and on because it was not a direct ground fault (limited current) or phase-to-phase fault, which would have tripped an upstream recloser.
@jen8933 Viewfinders/monitors can't produce light at an intensity that could damage a camera user's eyes.
didn't yer know that?
The lady who authoritatively suggested the very safe distance of "at least 50 feet", however, might be seeing things a couple lumens dimmer than the rest of us now...
@jen8933 If that's you're angle, perhaps it would have been better to speak your thoughts on welding safety first? A comment featuring singular/plural mix-ups and improper vocabulary stereotypical of an uneducated person is more likely to insult than to inform.
great but scarry vid! I'm surprised that it didn't explode at the end. it just sputtered out. is this in Oklahoma? I lived in Florida and in 2004 we had a hurricane rip through our neighborhood. lost power for 10 days and it was during the summer! very very hot!
Due to all these winter storms that I had, I hope we don't get a huge ice storm that causes something similer to this and that I lose power for weeks.
That's what I'm fearing now.
Believe me, ice storms are just worst then hurricanes and blizzards, because you lose power for weeks (due to the fact that there are lots of breakage of lines unlike thunderstorms and windstorms), trees blocking the road everywhere, you can't drive on the road due to ice, and the fact that you can't move ice.
i witnessed a transformer explosion when i was in high school i was waiting for the bus when the power lines buzzed and moved luckily the transformer was far away but still i could see it and boom! sounded like a bomb being dropped i heard that some drunk person hit the electric pole causing it to explode it was horrific
@johneato It might be a smart thing to also put this information in the description field in case any more people decide to critise your sarcasm. Lovely remark btw, the supersoaker thing.
FYI: 1: there was a transformer, it did finally blow and another service cable continued to arc. 2: fire departments are equipped to shut off the power via a "catch off", kind of a big switch on the line some distance away. 3: I was two mimosas and a hashball deep when I recorded this, but yes, I was being sarcastic about the squirt gun. 4: FOR HELLS SAKE PEOPLE, READ THE THREAD BEFORE YOU SAY THE SAME SHIT OVER AND OVER!.....noobtubers!
Actually, you can spray water at an electrical fire. A super soaker might not work out too well, but a wide angle fog insulates the current with the air in between the water molecules. Best bet is to wait until de-energized though.
"If I had a super soaker I could really be a hero" i would have really loved this video if you did that cause then you'd be burning with that pole. BAHAHA!
Actually pretty amazing. I never knew a power surge would keep up like that. Pretty epic though for video. Wish I had that on video. Or even got to witness it first hand. Better than fireworks.
Cool video of an electric arc, but mislabeled: this video does not involve a "transformer explosion". We just see some wires that arc for a while, then stop arcing when one of the wires melts. Transformer explosions look nothing like that. They're MUCH more frightening. Here's one: watch?v=fzbQjd_Oo4Q
lol did you guys get the sonic boom? its so loud in rumbles the ground. its like the explosion of the bucket on the power line. that explosion up close is going to make your ears bleed o.o
well lets see i am a fire fighter we use dry powder extinguishers so you don't get shocked if you used water or a C.O-2 extinguisher you would get ur ass blown to shit???
Wish we had free arcs and bangs from power lines and poles in England - just put some water on it that will make sparks flyyyyyyyyyy- love the orange glow
Freaking cool! Hope all you guys in NW AR finally have your power back on. Amazingly, we only got a little bit of ice here in Ft. Smith. We were so lucky.
Dam, we need some amusement like this in our neighborhood... where does your town buy these transformers? I WANT ONE. ;-)

You're never gonna establish Close Encounters of the Third Kind comms with the alien mothership if you just repeat the same note.
Well that's what you get if you leave it to a power pole transformer to establish first conect.

when you are filming you don't look continuously through the viewfinder. indeed i usually use the little screen. so i did know that.
