  • clean boot marks etc off your pipes with a penny, wait till metal is cold then scrape with a penny, a penny is softer then the chrome so no scratch marks..

  • @DeltaDJ2006 that's a really smart idea, thanks for the tip, i'll include it when we publish our cleaning encyclopedia that goes with my free book "How to Kill your Cleaning Staff" cheers Kevin

  • I have had melted plastic on my exhausts and our dealer valeter took it off real easy with some super fine wire wool. I expected it to scratch but none at all. Awesome

  • @Rajvirdee do you know what grade of steel wool?

  • @oillift #0000 is when i've been reading online

  • The cleaner may not have done damage ibut I am doubtfull that the stick didn't scratch the pipe

  • actually it was a soft wood and the cleaner is doing the debonding so no damage occurred. however, you are correct that you should be very careful with any chrome surface. we are finding now that our Graffiti, Ink and Goo remover is the best product for this type of application. thanks for the comment. cheers Kevin

  • No. What occurred is his rain suit melted on the pipe. We used a soft wood mixing stick and tried it when the pipe was hot and the rain suit plastic would not come off. We let the pipe cool and then put Oil lift on for about ten minutes. The oil lift worked it's way under the plastic and when we heated the pipes back up the water vapor helped release the plastic. The cleaner can't harm the chrome. usually when you clean a bike with Oil lift you dilute it 30 parts water. We used this concentrate

  • Is he fucking the pipe up more by doing this?
