  • The reason any number to the power 0 is 1 is that x^a/x^b =x^a-b so

    x^5/x^5= 5^0=1

    x^4/x^4= x^0=1

    2^3/2^3=8/8=1=2^3-3=2^0=1

    You do not just accept it or die
