@Maxid1 That's what I'm talking about. The compartments are underneath but the entire bunk folds upward to reveal them. That is probably what the rail is for.

after being navy adn army the navy bott camp was 100x funnier, and harder on all the lil bs stuff. in the army we didnt have pre set ways to fold and store all our shit "we had alot more gear to keep up with though" the basic concept in the navy was theres one way to do everything. the army adopted the as long as your all the same your all right motto. if it wasnt for ft benning being so fucking hot, lack of hygine, thiefs, and getting smoked round the clock. i would have prefered infantry osut

Hey guy at 0:00 to 0:02 you are using the broom to clean the Terrorist on the deck, wtf? We used towels and A stick. I see that they still had to use guard belts lol, we had those stupid back packs, I got a demerit chit for having my belt unbuckled and man my Chief 8 counted the shit outta me because of it... Good times.

@Skribduex well they also lowered the standards a lot in the past few years. i agree, when i went through and i screwed up i was getting P*** I.T.'d out of me with an RDC barking right over me. but now they've gotten soft on recruits, heck for a while they even gave them stress chits, so the could take a time out of training if it was "getting too tough" of course they don't tell them that it only works at boot camp. i had one FNG try to pull that on me and i changed his opinion PDQ.

@gunsniper0018 I can only imagine, I'm only a few months out of boot camp and I'm not gunna lie, some of those regulations are kinda bullshit. Glad my Chief didn't completely "adhere" to them if you catch my drift.

@Skribduex Glad he didn't, we need more salty chiefs and first classes in boot to toughen up those recruits. but sadly that's the way the navy is going, heck the reason i left at the end of my tour was because of all the bureaucratic BS they started putting in to cover their own sixes rather than actually looking out for their own guys in the field. but don't let the words of an old salt get you down, the navy is what you milk it for at least that was my experience in.

This video is a fake. My push was in the summer of 09, and this is a misrepresentation of the US Navy bootcamp. It makes a mockery of what my fellow shipmates and I had experienced in our time at basic training, past and present. Please remove it, I feel it is a disgrace to the Navy and the armed forces.

@asosaki I went to Orlando and I heard (for what it's worth)that Orlando was the hardest. Not sure I believe it though. I think all of them are hard, but it probably varies on the trainer (who were called Company Commanders when I was in). I know they want to make it look easier though.
