nates bringing the rock back to this band. they started getting soft with the rising tide and HIFTBSO. they started turning them distortion pedals down a couple notches and pulling out the acoustic guitars but Nate set them straight. Hes in the studio right now throwing down some wicked bass lines pumping them all up.
Wow! I Love This Song! Saw The Two Shows In L.A. And They Were Fucking Awesome! So Good, As Is This New Song. Anyway Anyone Has A File version To Share?
Great song!!! I saw them in Seattle at the Paramount Theater and it was awesome!!! The crowd was pupmed and it was great to have the guys back home and on stage.
I was there too, and I agree with everything you said. Every time I turned my head to the right side of the stage, I almost couldn't believe I was seeing Nate up there. This song sounded much tighter at the Seattle show too, so they probably got more comfortable with it as the tour progressed.
This new song is great. I saw the Anaheim and Los Angeles shows and they played the same exact set. I was hoping they would change it up a bit and to hear something from Rising Tide or even Fire Theft, but hey, it's SDRE. I've been wanting to see them for years and they put on an AMAZING show regardless of what they did or did not play. I love them so much! And when Dan announced they were working on a new album at the LA show I almost wet myself. Welcome back guys. We've missed you.
Apparently, the setlist from the Tacoma show listed it as "10 (New Song)" while setlists from later shows in the tour just list "New Song". There's a whole discussion about it at the message board.
@MadAlchemist9 I suppose we would have to link the lyrics from 7, 8, 9, etc. then pose questions to the writer thereof to see for sure. I am not saying I do not take it seriously but I enjoy it just as it is: a reunion of an old band. OK Bear really broke some ground in my opinion; I am much more interested in the next step. When asked what his favorite song is, Duke Ellington said: "the song I am writing now."
Does anyone have a studio version of this yet? great song!
