From my perspective, I would have flanked the spectrum towers and use the final squadron on some power plants, cut off the rest of the power, then finish off the rest of the base while my ally distracted any enemy units and those annoying towers.

u should have pulled back brought in fresh ships and tanks and some air support (jet tengu,chopper VX,and sky wings)

Hm, might have wanted to pull back the Naginatas after hitting the prism cannons. The base destruction was a good move, but you plunged to far and left yourself open.
