I have heard of ayahuasca in my cultural anthropology class. I understand shamans use this plant. I had no idea other people who are not shamans were using this plant. I would like to understand how this plant affects the mind. People who are not shaman should rethink using this plant for the sake of getting high.The plant helps heal, people that have the gift should use it in the way it was intended. I understand the shaman respects nature and uses that belief, curiosity is not enough.

@lavenderraines nobody who legitimately want to use ayahuasca, would dare think of doing so to "get high" the huge misconception with non-psychedelic users is they think everyone's trying to get high, which is not the case. Curiosity is merely the first step, next is true desire to grow and expand ones mind.

It not just 'another drug', its almost like these people dont even understand the words that come out of my mouth when i speak of deeper levels of consciousness.
