At 15.40 where you use the expression, what's the shortcut you use to open the expression? Sorry for the newbie question aha!

@jamesoliverhuson shortcut to open expression? I think it's alt+click on the stop watch? Or maybe you mean to access looking at the expressions? Then it's just "u" to pull up all keyframed properties and expressions.

@TheCtk97 a little feather and a little blending mode change and you're away at the races. And tweak the opacity to taste :)

@ECAbrams . I thought you had to set the image with the black background to "screen" blending mode, "add" just changes the colors for me.

@fatlittlebritishkid I prefer to use add because it adds up the values and gets you a brighter result. Then you can tone it down with the opacity, but the overall luma values are going to be higher. Screen, add and lighten get similar results though. Add being the most extreme of the 3 I do believe.

@Scorpiosign53 a black background you say? Just set the clip to have the blending mode "add" and that background be gone, and you'll have it set to "add" for extra nice blending action. I got mine from videocopilot and they might be unhappy if I go giving away their products for free. They are sold pretty cheap in an awesome package though just like 99.95 for the 720p version. Comes with explosions, smoke, debris, some sound fx, all good stuff.
