Vents open up once the engine gets hot. If you drive around at 35mph for an hour the vents will open has nothing to do with speed only heat.

they filmed a few american versions with adam corolla but it got dumped after the viewing with test audiences, so we'll probably never see what they filmed. i agree in that the original version can't be touched, but it's all about money. more versions of the show mean more advertising revenue
