Thanks a ton for putting this up! I was 1st year in college when this came out-and unfortunately, it became the theme to the first girl I ever truly loved...Had to go through it, I suppose. Anyhooo, the lyrics, the sentiment of fear and frustration over not being able to "control" the situation (fear of losing her and the way she made me feel) really do nail the feelings I had. Great song, and awesome post! :)

Tears for Fears is my favorite band of the 80s -- and I listened to music obsessively in those days, so I knew good music when I heard it. They were awesome then, and I still love to listen to them today.
