The anti-dusting agent used by Taco Bell was later identified as soybean oil, a generally harmless and common food ingredient. As an anti-dusting agent, soybean oil is likely used by Taco Bell to help prevent powdered taco meat ingredients such as tomato powder, corn starch, and spices from creating spicy dust clouds in the production facilities
Some people might remember the little old lady that used to say "Where's the Beef? in the 80's and 90's. Well, for those of you who remember her, here's history repeating it's self.
People who don't care about the ingredients as I have read in some of these post would probably eat seasoned shit if it tasted good to them. A Total disregard for their own health.
people are stupid, there are no worms in Wendy's burgers, there is no Brazilian beef in McDonald 's patties, jack in the box does not use kangaroo and taco bell uses real beef.... come on people wtf is your problem....
Make your own tacos and spices at home people. There's nothing better than slow cooked Carne Asada tacos with a margarita or two. Best stuff on the planet.
Seriously...go buy a pound of 100% ground beef..then buy any one of those taco dinner kits (El Paso or Azteca or whoever) and make per the instructions. You will be adding water, seasonings, and thickeners...and the end product will probably be around 75-80% beef...and not a danm thing wrong with it. Even the tacos in Mexican restaurants have some seasonings added.
Maybe they just don't believe in spices in Alabama either.
what this gentleman doesn't say is in order for something to be considered "beef" it need only contain 40% meat. so when he says it is 88% beef he is being deceptive. that 88% beef need only be 40% meat, and then when you consider the remaining 12% you have "beef" that is only .40*88=35% actual meat. NOTICE HOW HE SAYS IT IS 88% "SEASONED BEEF." he's a shyster.
@jmcvay2k6 You're technically right. There is so many ways to play with this word. Beefy can also mean massive. A Beefy man doesn't mean he is a big cow. (which is female) But it still works.
And let's face it, who knows more about Tex mex than the austrailians? I mean I know when I go to Mexico, I always enquire about the levels of anti-dusting agents and silicon dioxide (sand) in my tacos. But the truth is all of the fast food industry does this, so don't be so suprised.
Shame on that fat fuck for claiming his rest is all authentic when he knew it was never real.I have had real & taco bell is all fake & bullshit.I only work there to mae money & nothing more.I hate taco bell & all that it stands for.Fake fucking bullshit & if I had my way I would get them to be gone & no more taco bells ever would exist if it were up to me.
Fuck taco bell & all that, that cheap ass comp stands for.I work for them & can assure you that dogs & cats eat better than what ppl are eating at this cheap ass fast food.I agree with Phantom if you want real beef then go to a real mexican rest & not some dub ass white folk rest claiming they are authentic when they know they are not.Real mexicans dont even have burrito's on their menu that all started in cali & isnt that were stupid taco bell started.Dumb fast fuck named glenn bell.
Dee Miles can suck my cock. 35% if you consider water content right out of the cooker. Taco bell uses real beef if not more then other fast food. If anything the law firm should be sued and raped up the ass.
@ICEMAN3rdID same thing we are all from the same tribe(anglo/saxon) its just americans think different or at least they use to i love australians and the english ,irish, scottish same thing is happeningto all our countries
They used 30% cow skin, not even real beef or actual meat... the rest is oatmeal filler with garlic powder (flavoring not real garlic) spice powder and other fillers. We all know it's crap.
mmm i love taco bell... i don't care what you guys call it, i call it beef. so for instance, if i take a tablespoon of beef, and mix it with one tablespoon ketchup, i can no longer call it beef? seems silly to me. Or Look at a hamburger... it's really only 1 part beef... 2 parts bread, one part condiments, one part lettuce/tomato. So, ya know,
I actually agree with Taco Bell after looking at the ingredients, it doesn't seem disgusting when you actually understand the ingredients (and don't have to make dumb guesses like "is it chihuaha meat!?"). Most of what's in the beef is just vegetable powder flavoring and oats. The beef is still there, and you can taste it, there is just a lot done to give it flavoring.
If you guys want more beef in tacos then go to an actual Mexican restaurant or make your own, instead of going fast-food.
Silicon Dioxide is sand. So you love eating sand as well. I don't want to eat oats with my beef, the only time I do eat oats is at breakfast as in oatmeal by itself.
Silicon Dioxide is harmless, unless you inhale it (not that I could understand why somebody would inhale a taco in the first place), and the analogy you make sounds like eating at Taco Bell is like going to the beach and having an all sand buffet. Frankly yes, if the "sand" was tasteless, harmless, made my food better, etc, I would say I enjoy eating "sand" under those conditions. As for the oats, that's more of a preference thing and I respect your opinion.
Taco bell rocks and to all u taco bell haters out there grow a pair and stop complaining about the beef it's hella good
