What a baby you are. you're trying to find causation for your frustration with traffic being slowed down due to a photo radar? Sounds really weak and your conclusion is far from proven. What is likely the culprit is that the drivers are too busy rubber-necking at the van instead of continuing on at the same rate of speed ... Or like the other comment says people are crossing multiple lanes at once which likely caused accidents prior to the radar van and the camera placed there for safety.

If you travel that stretch of freeway, you would know that 59th avenue is the first exit to head north across Pinnacle Peak (51st Aven, 43 Ave both dead end at the Freeway. So those exits only head south. That would explain why speed increased past the 59th ave exit and was 35mph or lower as people exited and crossed multiple lanes ahead of you to get their exit. Also, nobody was putting on brakes at the camera. Your claim is not reality.

The cameras dont hinder the flow of traffic, AZ drivers with their heads up their ass hinder traffic, I drive in this mess daily all day. People freak out and slam the brakes just like if there is a minor accident on the other side of the road. Oooh!! slow down slow down, Its the drivers not the cameras
