Thomas Dunhill, Salon Pieces )p. 41 No. 2 - A Summer Lullaby

One student of mine just finished studying a 2009-10 Grade 1 ABRSM piece called 'A song of Erin' by a composer named Dunhill. I wonder if that Dunhill is actually Thomas Dunhill.

I should think he almost certainly is. Thomas Duinhill wrote a lot of educational music for beginners.

Thanks so much for posting this. I've known of a few of Dunhill's songs but never heard any of his piano pieces. This one is such a beguiling little scena. Lovely to have the chance to hear it.
