Just to clear the air here.... Ron Paul is the IntreviewEE, not the interviewer. He was talking about the guy asking the questions. Don't think that last comment was founded... but meh, he's totally within his rights to make it.
Absolutely...I do believe its possible for him to win the Republican nomination (made a video spelling it out), but Im also a big fan of a Paul Kucinich 2008 ticket.
The campaign would be centered upon the Constitution and States Rights, but that would allow states to adopt social healthcare alternatives and the like..
AOL's online poll is the only online poll I know of where Ron Paul wasn't the clear winner, and it's also the only one I've known of that allowed multiple voting from the same ip address--could this be why Ron is in 3rd place?
Apparently Giuliani's employees are fast at clearing cookies and refreshing and voting again.
Kucinich is wrong on some issues, but is still an honest politician. The only two Republicans I could see running with Paul besides is Jeff Flake or Chuck Hagel.
It would be a good idea. Chuck Hagel already said he wouldn't run for reelection in the Senate, and being that he is a well known anti-war Republican it would certainly help the Paul campaign.
I live in Flake's district and for the most part he seems to vote correctly, but still has his share of faults. Besides, Flake has actually come out in support of McCain, unfortunately.
There was only one other administration in american history to reach accross the asile to make a winning ticket. Abe Lincoln(R) and Andrew Johnson(D). It was during the worst time in American history and Lincoln thought that the best way to keep his admin. straight and honest and bring the country together was to have an opposing party member with him. Seems like we need that kind of leadership again today and Ron Paul is that kind of man. Hey, you never know.
they put a rookie reporter on the paul detail...hehehe. I'm not saying they should Im a big paul supporter, but it just seemed very obvious he was inexperienced
If you think this one is bad, you should watch the rest of my stuff on our site. Check out the Democratic Debate Coverage, OJ Simpson hearing, and red carpet reports! Pretty rough! Rawvegas dot tv.
How can you compare placing economic sanctions on a foreign country, and then trading their oil for food they can't get under your sanctions ....and call that energy independence???
Presently, there is "ZERO" interest on savings...
the Value of the dollar is crashing...You support that???
If you put 1000 dollars in the bank, you will have less than 900 in a year from now without spending a cent...
The value of property climbs while the dollar falls.....your rationality is non existant....
at least dennis is open about how he wants to mess things up and not secretive like the rest, i think people get caught up in the general discontent Ron and Dennis each have with their own parties, and think they would work well together, idk maybe
senatorped watch PBS interview Ron gave 5 weeks ago in which he does consider Kucinich as running mate even adding that their disagreements on spending/social programs can be ironed out by cutting the military spending
If you think Ron is going to choose Kucinich as a running mate, then you probably don't know the first thing about what Ron stands for, or you haven't listened long enough to Kucinich, or both.
wheres my red necks at land of the free right? you let jfk get assassinated federal reserve collapse your money supply voted a dictator in with nazi decedents jews buy the media create wars for bank profits secret society's trive goverment wipe there ass with you constitution your only way out is RON PAUL are JFK of are times
i love how Ron Paul isn't briefed about "cool" bands to talk about like other candidates, he just talks about the issues and yet he probably has more youth support than any other candidate
I think he heard wrong. Sounded like he was talking about a 3rd party run.
Not that i think he would pick Dennis, they are friends and respect each other but they have some pretty fundamental political differences. I think they're both great candidates.
With Kucinich as VP, he could propose plans that various states *could* adopt if they want to. Thus, we could have a small, conservative federal government, and have a modest, liberal state government (depending on the state)
I'm glad to see this idea catching on, perhaps they could provide good balance to each other, i dunno...would be quite the experiment, and out of all the candidates running in any party, they are my two faves, easily. of course Nader would be a nice addition to either of their runs too, if not i hope Ralph can give a nod to one of these American Heroes.
Acutally I have seen a video on main stream media channel where he said that he would indeed consider having Dennis as a running mate because they agree on a lot, the main factor being dennis is as against the war as Ron Paul. I'll try to find that video.
Never said it was going to happen my friend but the video that I spoke of was on WMUR channel 9 which can be found on youtube. Note: Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich are more often than not initial cosponsors for many bills that the other tries to pass ( however not dennis' domstic bills, thank god).
Dennis is a good guy but I don't see it happening. I wish he would win the nomination on the dem side. That would be a great debate... paul vs. Kecinich
I was there and he was great.

Paul and Kucinich have different ideas about the way certain things ought to be done, but that's the nature of politics.
What is more important is that they respect each other as honest politicians, which is something in very short supply right now.
