  • I love the soundtrack! Did you guys write it?

  • The character animation was very well done, the movement of the charcters was really well made and looked believable, although the cartoon violence felt a little like anime(but thats not necessarily original, because millions of users see a lot of pointless anime fights in the internet everyday).Over all very good, but try and come up with something a little more original next time.

Hahaha, first youtube comment and I'm already a critic.

    cheers

  • brilliant you should do more and start geting paid for this its pure talent bro good 2go :)

  • hey thats fucking awesome man !

  • nice

  • wait wati wait did u use a mousez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wat the hell how can u do all of this wiht a mouse i aint ever buying a graphic tablet

  • that's one amazing rotoscope animation man! cheers!

  • holy crap mouse drawn with 12 frames per second? must've taken forever.

  • this videos funny ahahaahahahahaha

the fighting tactics are insane ahahah

  • yeh so umm.. how do you rotoscope? im interested in the technique

  • There are different methods, but for this video I shot the original action at 24 frames per second and edited it into a workable sequence, then I cut the frame rate in half and imported each frame into Photoshop and then drew what I needed to draw in there. I then drew original animation (the backgrounds and the buildings, etc) and then combined everything in After Effects.

  • well arent you just the village genius.

  • Very nice roto, congratulations!

  • hmmm how did u do this? why dont u make quick tutorial on a short flat like this? hmmm? am sure ud get alot of fans, this is cool stuff

  • I like how you gave all the non-rotoscoped stuff 'squiggle vision' and used parallax scrolling/multi-plane camera effects.

  • Thank you. I am a big fan of parallax effects.

  • Nice work you've done for a creation with the use of rotoscoping, Joe Redifer. It looks to be if it was flash-animated, too. I've seen the Dave White fellow in a bunch of your productions before (and he was able to survive a gunshot at the heart and take a bazooka/rocket fire without getting vaporized or burned here); Is he a good friend of yours, as I suspect? I get the impression of a Mega Man X game from hearing the music in this. Keep out the good work, as you usually do.

  • I'd like to know which Megaman X game you are thinking of that sounds like this.

  • Not a specific game in the series, but I had in mind of Mega Man X 3-6 for the original PlayStation. The music just seemed to fit along the lines something Capcom-y, and those were the most suitable I could think of.

  • Very impressive sir!

  • That was kick ass! I love how you made yourself look cooler than Dave at the end because you drew it, haha.

  • Remind me not to fuck with you Joe.

  • Joe , that was absolutely fantastic!! You and Dave rock! well.....mostly you!! ahahaha
