This guy could've been the Steve Jobs of videogames had the Great Crash of 1984 hadn't happened. From other videos and interviews I've seen of him,the guy was a genius.
I ipad would actually be of some use and not just a giant itouch. Real estate is a waste of his talent. He could make serious money now, people pay ridiculous amounts of money on tech stuff. Who knows, something like the halcyon could probably be the newest must have gadget. Or maybe even Apple, that company is all about taking risk and coming out with new, unique products. With him on their side, maybe
It's sad to look back at all of this and see how strong a man's hopes and dreams were, and then seeing that he gambled everything on it... and...

Where is Rick Dyer now? Probably lying in some back alley with a crack pipe hanging out of his mouth and a heroin needle in sticking into his arm, constantly babbling "Halcyon... Halcyon... HAL-CY-OOOOOOON!!!"
Good question, there was a keyboard but I don't recall seeing a joystick in any of the pictures I've seen. Maybe Cobra Command was there just to show off the laserdisc capabilities? Anyhow, you can play CC with a joystick on a modern PC with Daphne emulator.
