Do you think financial aid refund checks and private loans could pay off an apartment that costs 2500 a month? I'm not interested in a roommate either. I'm also going to get a part time job probably like 7.25 an hour the days I don't have school. Do u think those factors will pay my expensive rent + food,clothes bills furniture etc?

@Thestylekitten I dont think its a good idea financially to get a $2500 a month apartment if you are going to pay for it in student loans and such. Bills and food will probably be $500 a month. But if you want to rack up your student loans go for it...you can find good one bedrooms for way cheaper

@camgurlable im a junior and went to a seminar today and my adviser said atlest have 3.0 GPA or close to it, show u have passion for what you want to do, also try and go on website and request info and advisers will contact u , and also go to there seminars and orientations and set appoitments

hey, congrats on getting into the college :) I wanted to ask you how you earn money, because the studies are very intensive and it seems like getting a job along with them is quite impossible. how do you pay for rent fees and foods and all? :)

@deadlyfantasy89 Thanks. Yeah it can be overwhelming at times. I have student loans for my living expenses and then I try to take all my classes in just two days so I have a part time job that I use for spending money!

hi i am in 10 tth grade and im interested in fidm los angelas and i was wondering what the housing is like and what do you actuallly do in classes because i would love to do fashion design and interior design and work for a fashion magazine if possible is this the right college for me

@Whippy2332 I have a video on student housing! Also I am not sure about those majors but since this is a fashion school im sure it is good for design! So I would explore your options and see if this is the one thats right for you!

@yamapsaikou its pretty much like we go to school for 2 1/2 months and then have three week breaks because we are on quarters...so for winter break I am off december 14 to January 6

What majors do they have at FIDM because on the website it says some that aren't what other people have said. I wanted to do TV & Film Costume Design and they have that on their website but some people are saying that there are only like ten majors. Also could you tell me what majors and classes you have to take?

@Toricatcat5 I just did another fidm vlog today and listed the major but the LA campus does have that major it is just under the "advanced" program so I am not sure what that means you would have to call and ask.. and what classes do you want to know for what major?

@iamkarla89 I mean teachers dont just hand out A's, you have to work for them. There is a lot of homework and projects but it makes it easier since your learning about things you enjoy :)

How long did it take to find out if you were accepted after turning in your entrance project?

@adammusic08 Well I turned in my project and then you have to set up a phone interview where you will talk about your project and they will tell you right then on the phone if you got in or not :)

@adammusic08 Well my advisor looked over my project and helped me and told me what to fix and all that kind of stuff and then once it was good we set up a phone interview. I would definitely call your advisor so you can figure out your status. Good Luck!!

@johannavalk Thanks! My apartment is around $1400 a month and I split it with another girl...

and I used student loans and aid so mine was all covered...but I am pretty positive you pay all at once.

@loveaj101 Basically for the housing.. they rent out apartments and you share a room with someone else they rent it for almost double of what the apartment would normally rent for...and yeah I had to do a phone interview.
