  • All union people are not lazy I worked my ass off for these people for 10 years. You sound like the typical jealous prick with a shity no where dead end job.Pea brains such as yourself can't comprehend good paying jobs like this leaving makes it harder on everybody in the state. After this company left so did many other suppliers and local jobs depending on the employees money being spent in the community. You sir are a fucking retard!

  • This is all cuase by union people, theyre all lazy ass people who don't do shit.

  • Wah! I guess the UAW was not all powerful. If I were a UAW member, I'd be demanding my thousands of dollars back from the union bosses. Your money was already wasted on political elections and BS like OWS. Maybe the UAW should open a business making something to sell. No one would buy it because of the low quality and high cost. The only way it would work would be if the government subsidized it. Oops, that did happen with GM. I drive a Toyota made in the USA... Cry me a river...

  • Does no one remember what Presidential candidate Ross Periot said in 1992? That if NAFTA (North American Free Trade Act) is passed "all you will hear is a giant sucking sound " which meant that all manufacturing jobs would eventually leave the US. No one listened and most jobs are now gone! US government and greedy corporations are to blame.

  • Our Government is not protecting American companies and workers. We have a federal minimum wage law to protect us from barbaric slave labor practices.

    Not so outside our borders.

Our government is allowing these companies to move out, and ship their stuff back over here putting our American companies out of business, and completely destroying the chance for an American entrepreneur to start a company here. Resulting in NO American companies. And American companies = NO American jobs.

  • Mexico buys American goods more than any other country except Canada. Over one million new cars are bought by Mexicans every year.

Mexico is America's 3rd largest trading partner.

  • The news only wants to say what they want to say. The Saltillo Mexico plant has already been open for years at the time the Fenton plant closed. Personally, I have had two Fenton plant assembled pickups, and they suck. Workmanship was just not there. My 2010 Warren assembled truck is great. The Saltillo plant is only making the heavy duty rams and single cab 1500's. If Mexico truly now have jobs that were in Missouri, there's reasons for that. Fenton had their chance.

  • Fuck off piglets! Your asses deserve to be unemployed, you keep re-electing the very fucks who are selling your asses out! Now you will work for pennies!

  • Man, it hurts that companies throw their workers under the bus like this. I was told last week that I'm likely to lose my job due to the company outsourcing our jobs. Our new CEO was given over $6-million and all she's done is fire people and cut-back on everyone's benefits and wages at the same time.

I guess this is the type of brilliance American Business Schools are teaching their students these days; ethics means nothing, only the bottom-line counts.

  • I won't buy another heavy duty Ram pickup until production is brought back to the U.S.....unfortunately, I'm not sure when or will this coukd happen. For now, I'll continue to enjoy my American-made 1992 Power Ram 250.

  • @spartus09 And repair it and keep it running with parts made in China, Mexico, Brazil, and Korea.....

  • I do not know what others think, but this news makes it seem as if Mexico was intentionally stealing U.S. jobs. In Mexico too many jobs were lost because of the recession in the U.S., and that does not mention it. Evil-minded and sensationalist news! And it was Americans who took the decision to send this production to Mexico. Maybe you should look to keep the work in both countries!

  • We want our jobs back!!!!!!

  • @380Banshee Call your Union rep. I'm sure he has money stashed away....

  • mexico will have more chrisler customers and more chrisler vehicles in their streets

  • I agree greetings from Mexico City!

  • boycott? HAHAHA! They'll all move to MEXICO before you'll ever say "Adios Amigo!"

  • Does anybody know what is going to happen to this factory? The company that has bought Chrysler does not own this plant, as well as 7 others lost in the bankruptcy. The workers were told to pack up... does that mean this place is basically empty?

  • The entire problem here is FORD their is no other way to say it , they simply will not let any other automaker exist in the business. that is the entire deal you drive another make and their customer base is on your tail with their make wearing your breaks speeding up when you turn people buying cars are afraid to put their wife and children in any other make because FORD labor and customer base will ditch their wife and children they consistently threaten.

  • Thats the F-en Unions for ya. No compromise so it forces then to move or go out of business.

  • @harlyd007 more shitty fords are made in mexico

  • fuck off wetback!

  • viva la mexico lol
