  • i take it she died since the post from the last person was a year ago.... what a shame... she was such a happy person...

  • you make soo much sence steph! I've been struggling with my weight lately and I just cant seem to loose it...I think I will work on loving me on the inside first. Maybe someday I'll be happy...who knows. Thanks for the vid. xoxo

  • your right..oh and you made this on my bday :]

  • You are so great

  • Being physically fit doesn't mean you're ripped or built like a rake. My Dad's quite overweight but has been told he has the heart of a man half his age.

It depends on the person. I'm overweight, yes. I'm also strong, I can run and swim well, I have a healthy diet (just a few too many treats!) and my GP isn't concerned for my health.

  • will you still be 'happy with you' when you get heart diease, atherosclerosis, cancer? hmm

    dying early sound good?

  • let's see...I am 42,I eat what I want,drink what i want,have lots of sex and laugh every hour.

    What is early?

My 14 yr old cousin who was hit by a truck?

My 34 uncle who fell asleep behind the wheel of his 18 wheeler?

you could die within the next hour getting something lodged in your throat!!!A stray Bullet!! Slipping in the shower!!! or the ever common car accident.

I am living, not focusing on living long!

  • Death can come at any time, regardless of what you eat. Sickness, old age, death are the nature of the body.

  • currently the biggest killers are cancer and CVD. by miles.

1 in 2 people gets cancer in the states, thats more likely than a bus, slipping in the shower etc

here's something interesting, the worse the american diet has got, the more people die od cancer and CVD. hmmm

    didnt used to happen

we are all going to die yes, but i would rather not live the latter half of my life dependant on meds to keep me going, thats not living

  • You care about yourself enough to eat right and exercise, right?

That is what Steph is saying. Steph was killing herself by trying to conform to what magazines said to look like. She wasn't giving up, she was just being realistic.

She's saying "Get your mind right first" because it's fruitless otherwise. Once people regain self respect, they'll eat right and exercise.

Processed foods are laced with excess fat, sugar and salt. 50mg of salt per 100ml / g of food is too much. Check the labels.

  • yes i do, i love me

magazines are all full of BS, people who try to 'conform' to that have let themselves get into a very bad place mentally as that is not what human beings are meant to look like

her 'right mind' seems to have ended her up overweight and eating bucketloads of processed foods, i dont see her eating right and exercising

i agree, all processed junk does not even deserve to be counted as food!

generally if it even has a label its not real food!

  • My favorite is craisens...I never knew dried cranberries could be so good!

  • girl i love your videos!! you kick ass. i just discovered you and subscribed.

  • Thank you

  • this must of been the first time you said you like nuts

  • I completely agree. I won't sacrifice pleasure for someone's perception of perfection. Screw that man!!

  • I am a vegan so I like meeting vegetarians and in rare occasions other vegans. Yeah!

  • ♥2You Steph♥, so glad your a vegetarian, well said btw, beauty comes from the inside out and sweety your gorgeous.. ★★★★★KUDOS T.

  • steph you are so right. so right.

    thank you for being real.

love the fact that your a veggie.

  • cool you veggie i am too, i dont diet just eat things with out e numbers and artificial stuff, love nuts and fruit, cool

  • Sweetheart, you say a nice little message. I love to eat so much, but if I binge, on all my favorite yummy greasy foods, than I will get so fat, where I won't be able to see my cock again, nor will I get any ladies... Nor any serious roles

    Sprite is all wrong!

    "Image IS everything"

You look fine, your bone struture, and body mass for you is perfect. Just cause you can't force yourself to look like Scarlett Johansen, doesn't mean you should let yourself go, and look like Monique

  • "Image IS everything",well maybe for those who can see and even then the eyes are controlled by advertisement and unattainable images are just that!Advertisers are good at what they do.

  • Hahhaha. ActornScreenwriter, I want you to see all of your lovely parts. I'm crossing my fingers that the grease does not block such beauty!

    LOL

  • Yes Rh1no1, my awakening came about when I was walking down the street licking a McDonalds ice cream, and I was walking past a building which had these dark reflective windows, and I watched myself as I was eating my cone, thinking.

    "Man this doesn't suit me"

And than I looked at my chest, and what did I see?... Titties!...Oh my God! Titties. I thought of George Castanza's father, and his brazzier invention..

    Continued

  • That's when it hit me, and I said I need to stop eating all this yummy food that my ficticious German American grandmother makes for me (I have an imaginary TV granny, she makes me brownies, and tells me stories of the old country, grandpa looks like the 1980's Quaker Oat meal grandfather from those commercials... I always imagined grandpa getting scolded with a hot bowl of oatmeal spilled on his croth :-P)

  • I notice a subtle yet interwoven crotch theme in your work. Very interesting. I bet they don't teach that in screenwriting school.

Regarding imaginary grandmas, I can relate. I used to hide in the closet from my grandma because she was so mean and terrifying. In my mind, my TRUE grandma was Betty White and she thought I was adorable and smart. She would be kind and gentle. She'd brush my hair and tell me jokes. Continued ...

  • BUT...

My "real" grandma starts off her letters with "General Patraeaus is a dick & life sucks. Old people stink. Everyone is fat. Save your money." She's much more like Archie Bunker.

Conversely, grandpa was cool. He'd take us out for Japanese food- the kind where the chef would throw the chicken in the air and it would land, perfectly, onto the sizzling grill. Gramps would take us on hikes and teach us the values of being a good person.

So he married a rotten one. Life is ironic.

  • LOL, I am so envious of your granny too. We should have them get together, and maybe stich us an ugly sweater that will never be worn by us. :-P

I see you study psychology... So just curious, what's the crotch thing mean?... Please don't say I have a weired croth fetish or something :-(

    LOL

  • LOL... you have NO idea how mean granny is. Wow, what a super-biotch! Being babysat by her is like turning your kids over to Sadaam.

The crotch theme is simply humorous. Admit it; crotch jokes r funny even when you're past 15. I think you could use an esteem boost because, like many of us, u rely on exogenous reinforcement of value. You may not have washboard abs, but your intrinsic value doesn't care. You're funny and sweet. Put down the chips every once in a while and pick up some love.

  • Oh Saddam was a bastard. May he burn in hell! :-D

Yes, I do over analyse things (no spell check)

Truely some chicken soup for the soul :-)

  • yeah but being fat is bad for your health

  • Not eating meat is bad.

  • I love popcorn, granola, dried fruit, jerky ... mmmm all good. I eat Cheetos and cookies and stuff too and I'm slender. The trick is in the amount and in the frequency. No one has to suffer.

  • How much, of it do you eat? I mean if I buy a large bag of my favorite salt&vinegar chips, man I eat the whole thing within a day, or two

  • Well, I split whatever I have with my husband so that means I do not eat the whole bag. If it is chips we're talking about, I eat a handful for lunch with a sandwich, about every three days. On the two days, in between, that I did not eat those chips, I'd eat something healthier like wheat thins or even Cheese Nips.

But, if you eat the whole damn bag in a couple of days, that's ok. Get back on the horse and do better next time.

You are funny, I've read a few of your posts! :D

    Luv,

    Lindsay

  • you. rock. :)

  • you 2

  • I didn't think lesbians liked to put nuts in their mouths. lol sorry childish - had to say it. I liked this video. It's cute I've watched it like 4 times. The burrito actually looked really good.

  • FUNNY!!!!

  • I cant agree more - beauty is more than skin deep

  • you are beautiful baby... :o)

  • Love the message of this vid. Oh so true. Thanks Steph!

  • I'm about 40 lbs. over my clinical perfect weight - for 12 years now. Over the past ten years I've known seven people - combined friends in and out of where I work, and family, who have lost weight - Weight Watchers and/or Atkins/South Beach - and have gained it back - plus some once, twice, some three times! WTF?????? - someone told me yesterday she had 47 pairs of pants she could no longer get into... I've been a solid 18 for over 12 years now, and hubby still loves me-You keep on enjoying!

  • Thats what I'm talking about janietiptoe,I don't wanna be a seesaw!!!

  • looks good steph, i like all the foods that you talked about

  • I loves me some lucious kebabs!

  • I love ya StephStance and everything you stand for hehe! Perfecto once again...

  • when my youngest son was about 4 he heard me call myself fat and he said You're not fat mama, you just LOOK fat. Out of the mouths of babes. At 4 he was already a foot in your mouth man.

  • You're so right.

My first mother in law was soooo concerned about being thin that all she ate was apples and boiled eggs.. and i mean that was ALL she ate! Boy, i'd rather LIVE and be plump, than be thin and miserable like she was ( why did i ever marry her son.. what a mistake! )

  • Get your Goddess on, Steph! You look fabulous! You come on up here to Colorado sometime & we'll fix you some fine vegetarian fare! I am making roasted veggie marinara right now, tomorrow with company here..butternut squash lasagna w/ toasted pinenuts & pear sangria! We honor Goddess bodies in this house!

  • I sure wish I could come there.

  • good advice for the kids. And adults for that matter who have been living in a cave

  • We love to make burritos at our house. My friend taught me how to make the rice, so we eat bean, cheese and rice burritos.

  • I dislike burritos. Are you a Vegetarian?

  • fruit kebobs!

  • Great message!

    Huggs

    B-)

  • Thanks

    bdulcie

  • I couldn't agree with you more. After having 2 kids there is no way I will ever be a size 10 again. LOL! I loved dried fruit; eating some dried mango now. YUM!

  • The thing that most people doesn´t realize is that we are all born with different type of body sometimes you don´t have to do shit, and you have the perfect body, and sometimes even if you kill your self on diets and excersices, u won´t be able to achive The perfect body... you just have to balance what you eat, for healthy not for looks.

  • Wish I could be that way Steph. Truth is I freak out if I get close to wearing a double digit size. I'm an 8 (though I have been MUCH smaller at times). and am miserable when my 8's are tight. I really start getting depressed and scared. I would love to eat nuts and fruit all the time but It's for sure I would probably be 200 lbs. Guess I just have alot of issues from my up bringing. If we even started to gain weight as children my Father would do more than point it out. Nice guy huh?... Jerlins

  • Great message Steph!!! I wish these young girls could understand that you can be "Pretty" on the outside, but you can be "Beautiful" on the inside which is definitely SEXIER!!!

  • I know you're sexy Ms.shyone4444.... :o)

  • I lost 100 pounds and have kept it off for 10 years and your right it starts on the INSIDE first BUT even after all that I STILL want to lose another 20 blah why are we never happy with ourselves?

  • it's the invention of the mirrors fault!!

  • Dried pineapple is THE BOMB!!

    I want a KEEEE-BAHWB dammit! :P

  • talk about RUBBIN' IT IN....harrumphhhhhh

  • I'm with you Steph!! :-) hugs, Chris

  • let's go out for hot fudge Sundays?!

  • I totally agree Steph!! I am what I am, and I won't spend the rest of my life, however long or short that may be, attempting to be someone I'm not. That's not to say I don't try to eat well, but I will NEVER be a size 0, 2,4,6 or whatever. It just ain't gonna happen. I'm a big mama, and that's just the way it is. I am happy, and I do exactly what I want to do, I'm not hindered in any way, and I am ok with what I am. Great video, and rock on girl!!! (Them kabobs, looked AWESOME!!)

  • *does the bump with steph* you are right. you have to love yourself first... and worry about what people think not at all.

  • mmmm... pistachios!

I like banana chips, but the texture of most dried fruit bothers me..

those kibobs ath the end looked awesome!!

  • you should like yourself...only YOU know how you should be treated

  • you kick ass so much and minus the tomato the burrito sounds yummy.. i love dried pineapple!!

  • oh yeah..that stuff is super yummy!

  • Oh, that's true: dried fruits are good, many of them are even better than candies. :)

I am not a vegetarian, mostly because I like to enjoy of many kinds of foods. And, I love to move... after a long run it just feels nice to have a chicken sandwich or a slice of turkey with a fresh paprika. Mmmm...

  • paprika... I use that a great deal..

  • i am living proof you can live in junk food :P

  • yeah and your skinny!

  • Woot! Don't ever change Steph... Your perfect just the way you are!!! :)

  • nope not a dork ,,,you just know a good thing when you see it

  • I've said it B 4 ;o) Steph is a beautiful person inside and out ;o) Good video!

  • smiling really wide right now

  • WHAT TIME IS DINNER! BABY

  • 6pm nightly darlin'

  • wonderful video!

  • thank you so much nicanicabad

  • damn I got a comment from Steph--I'm honored!

    I needed this video.

  • I agree that to feel good it starts with a inner feeling but carefull cause too much weight is not healthy.

Well to have a good stamina is almost virtualy impossible if your overweight,

Well i say this cause for 20 years i always had same weight and now i do understand what it feels to have some extra that i really dont need.

Well i guess my opinion is that it depends on the circunstances you diet and of course the diet itself.

    Hugs

    Cast

  • I hear ya ptcast :o)

  • they were soooo good, you have no idea.

  • The inside is damaged.............

  • it can be repaired .....

  • Not at my age........

  • any age baby!

  • Great words of wisdom. I love nuts too, especially pistachios.........but I like them in the shell so I can suck all the salt off lol. Green is a GREAT color on you. That top really flattered the green of your eyes. You got dip for them kabobs? If so Ill be right over lol.

  • they are just fruit,no dip darlin'..pistachios are good any way you can get them!

  • Oh LISA!!!You so know that I am not a big meat eater, you little shit!

  • Steph! You go! Excellent video! The packaging is only as important as we want to make it. What's inside though is who we really are. And we can change that should we choose to do so. Wonderful!

  • I love a good woman and that package is for ever changing :o)

  • You make an excellent point, Steph. It all starts from the inside. People need to feel happy about themselves in order to see themselves in a healthy way. :)

  • Not matter how thin or how big...it's all good.
