What would you recommend the clear ghost case or this one to be honest I was going to buy the clear case and I did see this one but I didn't know what it looked like but I am now having trouble with which one I'm going to buy the black looks awesome but it picks a scratches and fingerprints

@highstona777 I like the smoked case much better then the clear one. It's all preference but I like black glossy equipment. I've built a few clear modded systems and I still like the smoked better.

@GAMER0451 haha im an iviter but anyways i just ordered the black smoke case and i had the same issue of chosing what colour i want the clear or the smoked but the bad part with the cleared one is that you can se the motherboard all green and black and i think its ugly!!

and i have the whisper legacy fans which will make ma xbox get more shiny bluuuueee!!!

i just put mine together, but mine wouldnt go on my xbox right? the back isnt all they way clamped together and its hard to put the harddrive in. i tried every way to put the top on correctly but it just wouldnt go on correct.

I had trouble putting the case on the first time too.. I ended up just messing with it until I got it to fit perfectly. Now when I take it off and on It goes on perfect.

did u have to solder the LEDS? or is it like Storm LED v2 and u just plug the cables into your motherboard and dvd drive?

@iFeaRzZx Before I ordered my ghost case I asked the same question. No, you don't have to solder or wire anything, you place the leds where you want them, they have an adhesive to stick them to the inside of the case. The power for the led's is inserted into the dvd player power, it is 100% easy, very simple install.

@homerman445 No. LEDs use little to no power consumption. I have LEDs in my controller as well and the battery life is the same as the normal controller.

@homerman445 No, There is no Hardware modifying. It can't be detected by microsoft. The only downside of doing this is you lose your warranty on your xbox. But if your like me, my warranty was over anyway.

Nice I couldnt decide between black and smoked till I looked at this. Smoked it is. I think im gonna add either a plexiglass window or paint something on it in a matching black so you cant see it till the lights are on... maybe tiger stripes to match the controller. Who knows looks nice though.

@Kadorja Thanks. Yah I would go with the smoked. Reason being is this console looks like the black one, but then when you turn it on it becomes smoked. I love it. Check out my updated video with a few addded modications

@GAMER0451 Im kinda pissed at the website I got it from. They sell the cases for $45 a case and dont even include the wind tunnel even though it has it on the box. The wind tunnels are $10 alone. Should of gone to the source but oh well live and learn. As long as the lights can still be seen and my whisper fans still work its all good.

@GAMER0451 I got mine from llamma.com. Kinda pissed me off when I found out all the stuff it was missing. I didnt know the clear dvd tray didnt work for the first gen dvd drives which my ancient 360 has so I had to mod that to get it to fit. I checked out GCs website and saw what it was supposed to come with and their low price. Sent them an email about it too just as a heads up that llaama is ripping off their product.

It is a mod.. It modifies the original casing. Thus called a modded xbox case. I also installed LEDS as well as a clear disk tray.

I would cost you a lot of money.. I would recommend just buying the kit... There is no soldering or anything.. Simply remove current case mount leds to when you want them.. change out wind tunnel and the dvd tray is a simple take cover off and place clear cover. put back together with new case and faceplate and boom your done :)
