I got this 2 days ago when I visited a website AVG told me not to.

No antispyware/malware (not even Malwarebytes) was able to completely delete these infections as they were running within the Windows system.

In the end, I took out my hard-drive and scanned it with another computer to remove the last 2 files, but one of them was ipsec.sys (within windows/system32/drivers) - important for your TCPIP (& thus internet) to work. I copied ipsec.sys from another comp & after 2 days of pain, all is ok.

i am kinda scared my computer got both AVG and spyware doctor and both seem to work perfectly together and when my computer was filled with virus some quite power full to i installed spyware doctor and the viruses stopped spamming and preventing me from opening files. which makes me think it is a good program but then i hear that when i uninstall it all hell break lose on your computer:\ idk if this can happen on my computer (i use dell Inspiron 1720)

thats funny cause i have eset which runs a back ground kernal IE run time scanner plus spyware doctor which also has a run time scanner and registry mechanic which also u can leave running to monitor any changes and my computer runs fast as hell 100mbps and my system is pentium 4 3 gigs 1 gig of ram i play big games like battle field 2 with no lag at all

@PanicItsBen if you want a real program that actually does something you're going to have to spend about 60$ that will be a years service with updates renewal fees are another 60$ for a year but u can use the program on 3 other computers

i wouldn't create a restore point on Spyware Doctor. When Spyware Doctor Scans and removes viruses adware etc... it will still be on your computer. you should be careful.

When you install, just close it and then after after each month / Week, start spyware doctor and scan your pc and delete all the spywares and then shut it down again, this is what i do.

this thing froze my computer like 10 times no kidding. Don't run this while you are doing something important, can be annoying. Use it in safe mode instead.

It can also block some applications needed for gaming, and it doesnt even ask you like zone alarm, it just makes decisions on its own.

I know that Spyware Doctor's real - I used the trial on an old computer. However, when I tried to use it on my current machine, it would crash on startup when I tried to use the explorer.exe process. Any possible reason for this?
