1) Go to your Timeline

2) Click on your friends

3) Click on Edit

4) From the drop down list select "Only me"

That way you will be the only one who can see your own friends, and no one else.

@tusia750 Yup, it's a transition period all right. You can ask your friends to make you a "Close Friend." They will get all your posts. They can also click on your name, then under the Subscribe tab, they can select to receive all of your posts. Of course, you can do the same for your friends.

If you DON'T see it, that means that probably you already have an invitation. In that case, go back to your Facebook page, and click on your name. Your invitation might already be there! The "button" is green and it should be at the bottom right of the page. It says "Get Timeline Now." Hope this helps!

@07ronaldofan Hi! As far as I understand, there is no way to run back when it comes to your own Timeline. If you want to control what your friends see about you, you can set up your privacy in many ways. I just did a video on how to do that. If you want your news feed the old way, put your friends into a list. Then, read their updates from the list. This shows your friends' status updates the old way. Go Ronaldo! :)

However, if you are looking to see your friends updates the old fashion way, you can group your friends into lists. If you then choose to see the updates on that list, you'll get the same look and feel as with the old Facebook.

If this video did not work, please follow my steps to getting a timeline: Go to facebook and sign into your profile. Then, go to the search bar and search "Introducing Time line" click on that. Then at the bottom of the page it will have "Get Timeline now" Click on that and it should go through it with you step by step. Much more simpler than what they are doing. Which DID NOT work for me.

In addition, you have the chance to really decide whose news you want to see. Hover over their picture and select your options. Also, you can decide if they are a really good friend, or just an acquantance, and the type of posts you want to see from them. I hope this helps!

Alternatively, if you go to your friends area and you choose a friend, or a family member, you can select: 1) Go to the "Friends" tab and you can select them to be friends or acquaintances and you can put them in a group. 2) From the "Subscribe" tab, you can select which kind of updates from them you want. If you know specifically, you can go to that friend, then select the "Subscribed Tab" and there you can decide what (if any) status updates you can get from them. Also, you have that upon when you see them on your timeline. If you hover over the picture, you'll get the "Subscribed tab." On the right hand side, you'll see a blue arrow pointing down. You can options there what to do with this post or his your friend's updates.

1) Go to your timeline

2) Click on your name

3) Click on the word "Friends" under the composite picture of your friends

4) Click on the "Edit" button at the top right corner

5) Click on the blue down arrow next to "Who can see your friends list on your profile"

6) If you don't want anyone to see your friends, select the "Only Me" option or whatever option you want!

@arch28anda Thanks for your question. On your new timeline, click on "Home" (which is your news feed). On the left hand side, you should see a heading called "Lists." Clicking that will allow you to add new lists and manage them. One thing to remember is that FB will guess as to where some of your friends belong, so you may want to double check your lists for accuracy. You can also put friends into lists, one by one, from your friends list. You can see the old News Feed from lists.
