Safari is a good browser, and just like every other browser, it beats the crap out of ie, but for windows users, it really doesn't bring enough new features to the table to provide enough incentive to switch. Firefox offers a ton of customizability, and chrome offers a great interface with great support for google's other services. Safari just doesn't do enough things different, especially since version 4 which borrowed a lot from chrome (especially the beta).

I'm liking safari. But there are some annoying things.

I can push down my middle mouse button and scroll freely. There isn't that info-tab thing you get on firefox and IE at the bottom which shows the address when you move your cursor over a link. But the most annoying thing is that I have to keep logging onto youtube every time I go to a new page.

Fix those problems and I'll be happy because Safari is fast and looks cool too.

The fact of the matter is that Safari is significantly faster than Firefox, which I do love. Simply open up both of them, then open few random websites in tabs. Safari is quite a bit more responsive. Then open up Windows Task Manager and observe memory usage; Safari will be *significantly* less! The proof is in the numbers! :) -EB

Ehh.... Safari for Windows isn't all that great. They need to make it fit in with the OS better. If it used ClearType font rendering, the graphics were clearer, it used the OS theme, etc. It'd be great. It's very fast and has great features, though. That's for sure.

Safari pwns. I used to use firefox, but it had loads of unnessecary crap, which made it slow. I switched to Safari because it seemed like a better browser, and it is. More streamlined, faster to use.
