  • my stupid mp3 labeled this song as blues

  • @devildriver340 It totally is.

  • @Lastshadow94 my mistake lolz

  • sick song but the electronic kick drums are too funny

  • when i started listening to this or you start you know your gonna loose your mind in one way or another lol

  • I love men screaming and growling. -insert eargasm here-

  • Insane Drums

  • I just played this and my limbs fell off.

  • @Sumos18 Funny, I played this then woke up.

  • @Lastshadow94 And when you woke up you were a quadriplegic?

  • @Sumos18 Nah, but I was sore for about a week.

  • lol wtf does 8-bit sound has anything to do with this song! this just ain't working...

  • @HARVSTO 8 bit? where do you live, in the unabombers shack?

  • Sparta? This is ¡¡Corporal Jigsore quandary!!!

  • Comment removed

  • the original is better, but this is also good, it's different, but i'm not a fan of this electronic sound. but this kicks ass anyway.

  • Some days i like this version better..other days I like Carcass' version better. Shove the phones down yer earholes with Berzerker :) *chopper hair* *kicks a puppy* j/p :">

  • Personally I don't like what they did to a perfect carcass song. It's still not as bad as Cattle Decapitations "Burnt to a Crisp" cover but the auto drums fuck it up

  • @becauseican66 Believe it or not these drums are in fact real drums. They are just extremely produced

  • @stewy1897 he doesnt play them live though, not when i saw them anyway! all pre recorded

  • @mongfarmer Yeah they've had a few drummers. Gaz Thomas recorded on this album, then David Gray of Akercocke did some live shows with them and now they have Todd Hansen. In between, they've used all manner of drum machines etc! Gotta keep pushing the boundaries.

  • @stewy1897 They're not produced, they're electronic. Saw them live, he just set up triggers to another band's kit.

  • @Kapr1Sun This is real. This is the only album with real drums. Trust me you can hear the difference in hits

  • @stewy1897 Wat are you talking about? I'm telling you how he did it when I saw him in person. Where do you get your data?

  • @Kapr1Sun Oh a bunch of people told me but if you saw him do it I guess I'll take your word

  • @stewy1897 They probably mean it's a real drummer...

  • Our band attempted a cover of this at the speed (ish) of bezerker in parts, and the death metal feel of Carcass, see what you think.

  • The drums sound like a pile of shit.

  • @CannibalCorpse909 Says the Cannibal Corpse fag, lmfao.

  • @00Rebirth00

So listening to one of the pioneers of death metal makes me a fag? Do your homework kid. Cannibal Corpse were shredding when you were still pissing in your pants.

  • Carcass>Berzerker

  • @NYRangersfan23

Come now, this isn't a competition.

    We all love Carcass

  • Raw Man Raw `~`

  • thats awsome haha :D

  • OULAOULA C'EST LA FÊTE LA... :O~

  • I wish they didn't trigger the bass drum like that :( Or use that sound if they were programmed, i honestly don't even know what they do for studio recordings. But I loooove this cover, and i bet it'd sound beast if they played it live <3

  • What in the name of fuck is wrong with the drums?! They're ELECTRONIC!

  • @ilikeboobsification Their drummer left the band, derp.

  • that drumming is crazy.

  • I think all the drum triggers make Bezerker the HEAVIEST SOUNDING BAND in the world. but thats just My Personal Opinion. Don't hate me for it.

  • @Yogsoggeth I wouldn't say heaviest... heaviest would be: Pig Destroyer, and maybe close enough Suicide Silence... :) (not that i don't like berzerker :) In fact I love them)

  • @lodseth13 Pff Compared to a real death metal band like Nile or Behemoth, Pig destroyer isnt heavy at all.

  • @lodseth13

    Suicide Silence??? HAHAHAHA

I love that death metal fans talk about "the heaviest" when they haven't heard doom, sludge and drone.

Corrupted and Buried At Sea is heavier than anything mentioned here.

  • @FutileExistence I'd put Anaal Nathrakh up against Buried At Sea for the "heaviest" crown. I don't know many bands that can match the sonic assault of Anaal Nathrakh. It's sort of like someone raping your ears.

  • @SWilliamJackson

Anaal is relentless and crushing sure... but not really heavy. ;D

  • @FutileExistence Anaal for sure is heavy, but not the heaviest.

What makes a band heavy? Long story short, it's basically 2 main factors aside from several other things (such as distortion). Slow, and Low.

Who's consistently slow with melodies that never reach high frequencies? I got too many bands to list, and unfortunately any band will use a high(ish) melody at some point.

Heaviest moment: Floor - Triangle Song, they don't have a bassist (WHAT?)

  • @Kapr1Sun

"What makes a band heavy? Long story short, it's basically 2 main factors aside from several other things (such as distortion). Slow, and Low."

Then Annal isn't really heavy then according to this definition. Also listen to Corrupted, Buried At Sea or Sol.

Also people seem to confuse brutality with heaviness in which goregrind and brutal death metal bands are the most brutal.

  • @FutileExistence If you take music as a whole, then Anaal is relatively pretty heavy. I know of those bands.

Graves at Sea (similar names, huh?) gets as heavier, if not heavier than those 3.

    Can't forget about Hooded Menace!

  • @Kapr1Sun

Not really, because a lot of the electronic subgenres such as industrial, Harsh EBM, speedcore and such are quite heavy sounding. Other forms of music are also heavy as well including drone.

Hooded Menace are great! Also Graves at Sea? Heavier than those 3? I have my doubts, I'll take a listen. =)

Listen to P.H.O.B.O.S. they are really damn heavy as well!

  • @FutileExistence Anaal is basically speedcore.

I know of PHOBOS. Cromagnon - Toth, Scribe I is the heaviest song pre-90s maybe.

(There's always Burning Witch and Yob)

  • @Kapr1Sun

    speedcore? lol and noisecore. =3

    Haven't heard those two. =/

  • @FutileExistence

I've heard people call Igorrr noisecore. I don't really know what noisecore is, sounds like a dumb genre name, but Igorrr is awesome on every level.

  • @Kapr1Sun

    Noisecore = grindcore + noise

  • @FutileExistence Igorrr is not grindcore...

  • @Kapr1Sun

maybe but it has influences maybe? and is predominantly noise? But then I remembered that "noisecore" has multiple meanings. It is also related to mathcore and is a subgenre of hardcore techno and sounds similar to breakcore. (which is probably what you are thinking of)

  • @FutileExistence igorrr is experimental breakcore/metal/baroque influinces guitar glitches and such.

  • @carnicerodeperros

Yeah, yeah... I heard them. They are pretty cool.

  • @SWilliamJackson Listen to the band Portal, they are the heaviest band

  • @Tool9395 imo Torsofuck is heavier :/

  • @antieverythingCZ the only metal that sounds like other metal is bring me the horizon and emmure, the ones that steal their music. People who think metal all sounds the same, lack imagination and creativity and are just ignorant. Dance and hip hop, also lacks creativity, thus fitting their personality. Same basic beats in every song with little variation. Same basic themes for lyrics. Very little instrumentation. Anything else you would like proven wrong about our "studies"? :)

  • the first time i heard 1:30, my jaw fell off.

  • your mom is now dead crap.

  • Good concept, but not really my thing. I like The Berserker and Carcass even more, but together ehhhhhh. It's the electronic drum sound, thats just not a Carcass thing.

  • How cool !

An ersatz of Slipknot making a shitty cover of Carcass.

  • The good shit

  • anyone who hates on this can come to connecticut and fight me and ill slice ur throat. GREAT COVER OF A GREAT SONG

  • @boundaries1unknown3 send your adress lets see how´s sliced

  • People don't like this just because their slow brains couldn't even detect all the beats by the bass drum

  • @SorgOfficial you rulz

  • This is crap.

  • @jontayyee3 Your mom is crap

  • Wow! This is bad!

  • Comment removed

  • this is not music.. and definitely this is not heavier than the original..

  • @Velhu fuc you man this IS music

  • @Velhu this is not music????????''' what is then? bethoven? he isnt even alive! go listen to your bethoven and fuck off!!!!

  • @Nilisilly I was okay with this comment until you started shitting on Beethoven.

I like this music and I like this band. A good amount of people obviously do. But that doesn't change the fact that most of us will move on from their music, and after a generation or two they will be all but forgotten. Remember Death? Yeah, neither do I.

On the other hand, 200 YEARS AFTER HIS DEATH we still listen to Beethoven's music, and we're even finding that it has good health effects.

  • @darkrequiem0 There have been actual studies that show that fans of Metal and Classical music share identical personality traits. Both are considered more creative than others, not outgoing, but are at ease. People who shit on classical music don't know their metal. The two main sources of Metal are Classical and Blues. Even this song has a lot of Classical music song structures and arrangements. Even Tom Araya of Slayer said one of his favorite things is putting on Mozart and blasting it.

  • @gregsvoice666 My point exactly; thanks for agreeing. It's nice to know that there are people out there who aren't idiots. ^-^

  • @gregsvoice666 I saw that. In the same study, it was highlighted that people who listen to dance and pop music severely lack the creative and imaginative skills that metal and classical fans blessed with. In general, of course.. :) Metal 1 - 0 Pop

  • @JetpackJamiie Yeah, great! So what about this fucking crazy amount of people (including me) who can, guess what, enjoy dance AND metal music without being pricks about it? Your "studies" are all silly, you can find thousands of metal bands sounding all the same and you can find thousands of DJs releasing the same piece of crap over and over again, but this doesn't prove any "lack of creative and imaginative skills" .

  • @darkrequiem0

    you dont remember death?

    are you fucking serious?

  • @thewhitezombie666 It's a figure of speech. Of course I do. How could I have brought them up if I didn't?

  • People who dislike this is just by the weird deathgrind sound, so simple. I like more Carcass but I find this a well executed cover.

  • @Konfleik i agree with you!

  • I'm a fan of both bands and this is a solid cover... the drum's blazingly fast.

  • @ChinoMoreno4life

yeh The Berzerker has fucking beast drums when i saw em live all you could see what him tewlling them insanely fast

  • I much prefer this to the original, but then again, I'm not a huge Carcass fan.

  • Nothing compares to Carcass...

  • Meh, I think this version is better.

The riffs are awesome, but the original is just waaaaaay to slow in my oppinion.

    Great song nevertheless

  • notbad, they should cover "cross 'em out and put a k" by westside connection:) hahaha that would be cool!! 90's gangster rap and metal 4 life!!! yeah thats right!!

  • seen them live a few times and they had a real drummer playing, very well. :)

  • disaster

  • I had few laughs and funny wtf-moments with this song, but honestly it's just shit compared to the original.

  • sorry guys, this just plain sucks!!!!

  • This actually sounds more awesome with the vuvuzela function enabled

  • Thanks obvious assholes for stating the original is best...well NO SHIT. This band didn't fucking claim it was better than the original.

  • to the people asking if its a real drummer, the answer is yes for this album any ways, dissimulate is the only studio album to have a real drummer, every other album is a drum machine.

  • NOTHING...NOTHING beats the Carcass original.

  • Minigun much?

  • the original is so much better

  • @blacksabbath0909 Well duh, I've yet to hear a song where the cover is better than the original, except Decapitated's cover of Mandatory Suicide, but that's still questionable.

  • @blacksabbath0909 no it isnt, it has´nt got the porn drums, and its way too slow

  • rotten voice!! Just what I love!! :)

  • das ist geil aber von carcass finds ich persönlich besser

  • That guitar sound is just epic amazing. its making me insane :D

  • hmm. between this cover and the original id have to say this ones better cause the beats sound harder and lets face it the speed is awesome too haha

  • sounds kinda liked they worked in a little bit of a techno sound at the beginning but then became hardcore lol :D

  • Is that real drumming?

  • @LikwidSchitz They have been using a drum machine. Don't know if that was also in this song. But live they always use a real drummer. So assume its real, cause live it will be anyway =]

  • these guys covered too many carcass songs.. even if it was two.. but from the same album.

oh well much better cover than their incarnated solvent abuse i like this one

  • i dont realy give a shit if they haven´t real drummer ´cause it sounds so fucking GREAT! also i think i saw few vids with their drummer performing live, so STFU haters!

  • berzerker kills. without remorse.

  • blablabla :D

  • excelent

  • i like the original carcass version better, but they did a great fucking rendition of it.

    love the fucking berzerker

  • Much better than the original version, imho

  • @xRHYDDERCHx: Go home.

  • That drumming is unreal! Fucking amazing cover. I never would think a band could cover this song and outdo the original but... damn, these guys sure did.

  • They might start with a REAL drummer. Bravo to the original.

  • It's big shit..

Carcass original is the best, that's all..

  • nothing beats the original carcass version.

  • Nice cover, but the original is still better...in my opinion

  • sounds like a helicopter taking off, but i like it

  • ..sick cover!

  • nothing can beat the original....

  • what the fuck is this???? farting drums and 666 voices together.. it looks like someone is killing his time with a casio!! i would like to hear it ambient style too...

  • Yeah! :D

  • I didn't like it.

  • The Berzerker is very niche. Personally i don't like what he's done to this classic song. Referring to people as 'fanboys' of the legendary British band is just plain fukkin stupid. Being a fan of the Berzerker and his limited crowd appeal on the other hand would certainly qualify you as a 'fanboy'. \m/

  • So liking the berzerker automatically qualifies me as a fanboy? You sir are retarded, sure this isn't as good as the original but its a damn fine cover.

p.s the berzerker are hardly niche

  • @sludgehammerhellfest

Dude what the fuck are you talking about

  • After listening to this.I can't listen to the slow paced original version.all the carcass fan boys are so dumb.Quit being so full of your selfs.Enjoy the music for what it is...better!

  • The Berzerker's drum sound really doesn't work with the Carcass-imitation vocals... I think they should have used their typical gutteral style more consistently thoughout the song.

  • Oddly i don't hate this enough that i want to kill billions of children. only a few million.

It's nothing on the original, but it has a difference to it, that it's kind...interesting.

  • Fuck they ''Butchered'' A classic.

  • Why u comes here whining fucker?

  • lol this heavier than the original? HA!

  • ya cuz it modded with double bass while carcass is actual talent

  • i assume you havent seen this band live, it explains why you think they dont have talent. if you saw the drummer playing on stage youd probably shit your self in amazement.

  • by making such a ridiculous claim you only prove my point further

  • @danllew

I SHIT MYSELF JUST READING ABOUT IT

  • @danllew totally ageree with u there mate these fukers r just brutality in a can waiting to explode in ya face lol

  • @danllew Me and my friends managed to barge our way through some fat sweaty dudes and got right to the front. The bass from the speakers deafened me for about 2 weeks. I could honestly feel it beating against my chest every time he hit the kickpedal.

  • @danllew

They did use a drum machine when they recorded 2 of the albums, but the current drummer is fukken awesome!

  • @danllew ive seen em live good show wish they wore the masks though, lol

  • If you don't like it don't comment cause chances are you and indicate newb that doesn't understand musical talent ^_^

  • the fucking double bass on the drums messed it it up

  • WTF

  • its a drum, its just been triggered

  • This is a good cover, I prefer the original, but this one is honestly heavier. Good cover.

  • i dont like this cover..the drum sounds is annoying.its like tekno

  • ur opinion is shit garbage :D

    ||

    ||

    \/

  • Yes these needs to be looked at in the stand point of performance. This is the drummer actually playing. He sounds up to tempo with the song vs. the other song if you notice doesn't quite sound to tempo. Props to them cause that is a raw ass drummer if I do say so myself. Sheer raw metal :D *thumbs up*

  • I will not lie .. this i prefer more than the original. you all have to agree these guys gave this song more UMF! sounds better and more metal.

  • Prefer the original but the intensity of this is mad. The double kicks in this would be awsome in the car with the subs lmao. Full on!!!!

  • I really dont know how some people prefer this to the original, christ..

  • original is better the drums sound like something out of an old game

  • fake drum

  • No its not on dissimulate.

Only world of lies and Animosity

  • They're not fake. They're triggered. But yeah, that 909 kick sound is a bit much.

  • i like this

  • this annoying

  • I asked Jeff Walker (singer/bassist Carcass) in the pub and he said he thought it was awful.

  • I love the way people always say 'the pub' instead of 'a pub'...

    But he's definetly right.

  • In Liverpool, the Swan is THE pub ... for people like us anyway =)

  • this is horrible

  • this suck TECHNO

  • No. This is no good. Were the drums recorded from the iPod application on 600bpm?

  • no it's a real drummer

  • i'm pretty sure it would have been easy to get the rights to corporal jigsore quandry considering they were signed to earache at the time. obviously i'm gonna say that i like the original better considering i'm a huge carcass fan. however these guys did a pretty decent cover, kinda sounds like the song went through various phases of gravitational potential

  • i kinda like it but i prefer the original much better

carcass and the berzerker are bothe awesome though

  • LOL.
