  • that looks a lot like an Alex Aguera raceboard, standard fitted with 3 fins? If so; No wonder it could go in 8-10 knots! The aggregated fin area is well beyond the largest of Formula Windsurfing fins. Really would want to try such a board! :)

  • GREAT !!!THANKS DAMIEN...

  • sick music!!

  • is it, u can generally go faster on a windsurfer but u can like accelerate better on a kite?

  • @CirciSurfMusic Not exactly. The kite board is much lighter than a windsurf board, so yes it can accelerate more quickly. But in light winds (less than 8 knots) the windsurfer's bouyancy gives it a huge advantage because the kiteboard will try to sink. But you'll be interested to know that a kite sailor currently holds the fastest speed record. Rob Douglas 55.65 knots (64mph, 103kmh) That's 8mph faster than Antoine Albeau's record on a windsurf board!

  • sympa la bande son... MDR

  • damo, great job, great video!! but crossbow 16m + race board + Leroy factor = cool session. we saw average riders on foilboards having pretty decent sessions in less than 10kts with north rebel 14m. ...remeber?

  • Good job Damien.

  • sick video Damo, I think I'm sold on the crossbow

  • I ride my 2010 SB 12m in 8mph of wind here in jersey on a longboard surfboard it amazes my why nobody else does it....but then again nobody else kites here regardless. nice vid go pro ftw

  • @surf1dz where is this place you ride at?

  • Come on Damien, use a Spotz race board by JC-Kiteboards and become world champion ;-)

Good luck for the coming year.

  • Amazing video!

When will the dealers have them?
