You must never have seen real humour programmes. May be good humour programmes not in English. Very funny thing is that you get humour when he say fuck you dad or show his back to you. It all depends on how you raise them. Hitting may not mean you hate or you want them to suffer. But to the child they do. Children are very impressionable and being beaten by their parents at such an age where their brains arent fully formed can cause them to think its right to do it to their children for no reason.

if u hit them and walk away; this could have been in your meaning. But in my case; after hitting; I would go talk to the child do he/she know why I hit them for? This is one thing they will learn.

i prefer/recommend/wanted government official to stay off children and parents issue. Let us teach our kid. The reason why our kid got into drugs, fighting at school, etc... u name it; it's because how government give kids too much right that they're not afraid of being bad. And when they're being bad; who's to blame? parents again... Kids are not afraid if they know that parents can't hit them. You can put that child in the corner as punishment; later u come back and he's gone. o.O!!!
